This was my first time staying at this hotel. I was excited to stay here because I saw that there was an atrium in the main part of the hotel. The atrium also included an indoor pool/hot tub and the Atrium Cafe for food - Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Since we only got to enjoy the hotel for two days we did not get to indulge too much in the amenities. We did, however; end up in the atrium when they were cleaning the cages and I got a very cool photo op with one of the parrots. Truly amazing and made my whole day. Upon leaving, we had to say goodbye to the birds and there was another white bird that kept doing front flips on her bar. I loved it and can't wait until I can come back again and maybe next time get to enjoy the outdoor pool! Thank you so much!

I absolutely hate elevators to begin with but on our first morning after check-in the elevator went out. Glad I wasn't in it when it did, so we took the stairs from the fifth floor. Thankfully, we weren't carrying too much of anything. Just what we needed to walk on the beach and get lunch. And Gratefully, the elevator was again up and running when we returned after lunch. Thank you for such a prompt response to a critical aspect of the hotel.

Location, plenty of onsite parking. Cafe was convenient. We had our back door right at the path to the beach which was great. Front door was right by the pool. Atrium with the birds was pretty cool. They drained and filled the hot tubs daily.

Arcade games on the second floor were a joke lol. Gentleman at the cafe/bar has a little bit of an attitude in the mornings.

The first floor rooms led directly to the beach. It had a great view, and my kids loved being able to go out and play in the sand. My kids also loved being able to see and hold the animals in the atrium.

The indoor pool was kind of dirty, but I imagine it is hard to keep it clean with everyone coming in from the beach and getting sand in it.

I was not disappointed with the cleanliness of the room at all!! The fridge/freezer and microwave were spotless! The AC filter was dripping a little with condensation when we first arrived, but maintenence arrived promptly to fix it (that guy was seen all over, and so pleasant!) The free coffee on the main level was always available and was pretty good! Front desk staff were very down to earth and helpful. The birds were cool. They seem well taken care of and seem comfortable there (often walking outside their cage, but go in for naps and bedtime, it seems). Hotel is right on the beach, so you can't beat that! We had breakfast at the Cafe, no complaints there! Outdoor pool was nice, indoor pool was alright... slightly cloudy, a little chilly, but not too bad. There's one elevator on the beach front side, but it was fast and felt like it was always available. Noise of the indoor pool and other guests was very minimal, so no problem. Would stay here again! (The picture I attached of the room was as we were leaving... the beds were obviously nicely made when we got there)

The hotel and room were both clean and easily accessible. The room had everything we needed. The refrigerator and microwave were clean and worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was great for our son. We went in April, and they did not have the AC on yet, so the room was a bit warm. They gave us a fan to use, and with the balcony door open, it cooled the room off nicely. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The beds were supposed to be Queen sized but were a bit small. They were also extremely soft, just a personal preference. I like a more firm mattress.

Perfect sunrise views, AND moonrises, all from our ocean front balcony! The kitchenette came in handy, as we like to try to cook some of our meals instead of having to order out every meal. Having the restaurant in the building is convenient and the food is great! The wildlife in the atrium is always a treat! Staff is friendly, rooms were clean! It was a relaxing birthday getaway!

Thr only thing that we would love to see are some basic updates in the rooms. The exhaust fan and stove light didn't seem to be connected to anything and didn't work, but otherwise, the appliances, (including the refrigerator), we're sized well to fit our needs.

This hotel is so unique!! We absolutely loved the atrium. We had a drink at the bar our first night, the bartender was great and gave us suggestions on things going on that night. We adored the birds, their caretaker is so wonderful and provided so much knowledge about the birds. We were in town for a music festival so the location was great, tons of good restaurants within walking distance and the bus stops were close. The rooms were very clean and we loved drinking coffee on the atrium balcony. We can't wait to come back!

The facilities are definitely older and show some age. Our door was very hard to open and close, sometimes it was hard to tell it was indeed closed all the way. Our bathroom also had a funky smell that we couldn't quite figure out.

Our room was very clean. Nice outdoor pool and indoor pool. Good complimentary coffee. Best thing I loved was the birds, fish and turtles. The turtles were amazing and all the birds were great but my favorite was Kiwi. His singing and kissing was the best. Totally made my stay!!!

The only problem we had was we had a hard time locking our door it would not lock until we did it a couple times and out card would not work so I felt a little unsafe at night time. Hopefully all the doors are checked in the complex.

Good location. Right on the beach. Oceanfront view is amazing. Wake up every morning to a blazing sunrise. Atrium was really cool. Parrots and fish are a good touch. Bar and cafe on site. Personnel are friendly. Shout out to Scott in the cafe/ bar. Great guy.

Even though smoking in rooms and on balconies is prohibited, it was widespread. Pot smell all through the building. Management has to be aware of this but look the other way. Before you book, make sure it’s not bike week. Thousands of motorcycles on Costal highway are very loud, and take up a lot of spaces in parking lots.
