This was my first time staying at this hotel. I was excited to stay here because I saw that there was an atrium in the main part of the hotel. The atrium also included an indoor pool/hot tub and the Atrium Cafe for food - Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Since we only got to enjoy the hotel for two days we did not get to indulge too much in the amenities. We did, however; end up in the atrium when they were cleaning the cages and I got a very cool photo op with one of the parrots. Truly amazing and made my whole day. Upon leaving, we had to say goodbye to the birds and there was another white bird that kept doing front flips on her bar. I loved it and can't wait until I can come back again and maybe next time get to enjoy the outdoor pool! Thank you so much!

I absolutely hate elevators to begin with but on our first morning after check-in the elevator went out. Glad I wasn't in it when it did, so we took the stairs from the fifth floor. Thankfully, we weren't carrying too much of anything. Just what we needed to walk on the beach and get lunch. And Gratefully, the elevator was again up and running when we returned after lunch. Thank you for such a prompt response to a critical aspect of the hotel.

Location, plenty of onsite parking. Cafe was convenient. We had our back door right at the path to the beach which was great. Front door was right by the pool. Atrium with the birds was pretty cool. They drained and filled the hot tubs daily.

Arcade games on the second floor were a joke lol. Gentleman at the cafe/bar has a little bit of an attitude in the mornings.

The first floor rooms led directly to the beach. It had a great view, and my kids loved being able to go out and play in the sand. My kids also loved being able to see and hold the animals in the atrium.

The indoor pool was kind of dirty, but I imagine it is hard to keep it clean with everyone coming in from the beach and getting sand in it.

The property was perfectly located ocean front. The bed and pillows were wonderful, which is important to me. The staff were amazing, especially the staff cleaning rooms, keeping the atrium vacuumed and floors dry and the ground crew. GARY from the ground crew was the best. He was hard working and doing things that were quite noticeable. We complimented him, he was grateful but humble. Thanks for the comfortable stay!!

It was dated. I didn’t care for the carpet in the rooms. Definitely didn’t take my flip flops off. And I understand how expensive it is to renovate , especially because people don’t know how to treat things nicely

That staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The kitchen facilities in our room was great. We were close to a grocery store to be able to buy food to keep in our fridge. The atrium was awesome! A little smelly but seeing the live parrots and lizard with the coy pond was absolutely awesome! I used the free laundry facilities while there. They were pretty easy to use. There was a few grills on the property but we didn't use it. Also there was a playground for kids. Also, the beach access was awesome!

The only thing is some of the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling but assumed that was from salt water.

The ocean view. Clean rooms. The beach was nice. Employees were constantly cleaning and friendly.

I'm not complaining but maybe take into consideration. The indoor pool hours should be ..no kids after 8pm. Kids/ families stayed in the pool most of the days we were there. We got to use the pool for about 15 minutes before it got too much with the jumping and splashing. Families with lil kids were in the hot tubs..signs said no kids in hot tubs. When we finally saw the pool free, the hot tubs were closed for the rest of the night. There was a person playing his loud music indoors at the pool. I understand we are all there for vacation and relaxation, but personnal music should be for outside use. The birds were beautiful but one has a 7:30 wake up screech. Otherwise we liked our stay.

The garden with birds, fish and the beautiful allure of a rain forest. Two hot tubs and two pools was wonderful, right on the beach and the atrium. Tina the gardener was incredible, she and my granddaughter developed a bond and she shared her knowledge of the birds, kiwi became attached to my granddaughter and didn’t want to be put down, it was a fantastic experience

The pools were a little cool so the kids didn’t swim, my husband saw the start of mold on the bathroom ceiling but all in all this place was amazing and the kids begged to go back next year

The hotel and room were both clean and easily accessible. The room had everything we needed. The refrigerator and microwave were clean and worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was great for our son. We went in April, and they did not have the AC on yet, so the room was a bit warm. They gave us a fan to use, and with the balcony door open, it cooled the room off nicely. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The beds were supposed to be Queen sized but were a bit small. They were also extremely soft, just a personal preference. I like a more firm mattress.

I was not disappointed with the cleanliness of the room at all!! The fridge/freezer and microwave were spotless! The AC filter was dripping a little with condensation when we first arrived, but maintenence arrived promptly to fix it (that guy was seen all over, and so pleasant!) The free coffee on the main level was always available and was pretty good! Front desk staff were very down to earth and helpful. The birds were cool. They seem well taken care of and seem comfortable there (often walking outside their cage, but go in for naps and bedtime, it seems). Hotel is right on the beach, so you can't beat that! We had breakfast at the Cafe, no complaints there! Outdoor pool was nice, indoor pool was alright... slightly cloudy, a little chilly, but not too bad. There's one elevator on the beach front side, but it was fast and felt like it was always available. Noise of the indoor pool and other guests was very minimal, so no problem. Would stay here again! (The picture I attached of the room was as we were leaving... the beds were obviously nicely made when we got there)

My room on 2nd floor was right over door people use to go to the beach so no privacy on balcony, had to keep blinds shut for privacy so could not enjoy seeing the sunrise, also low room could only see palm trees not the ocean ...I paid oceanfront rate to see the ocean not palm trees(VERY) disappointed, noisy hearing everybody talking coming and going from beach. .... I overpaid!!!! Room rate should BOT be oceanfront but ocean side palm tree view!!!! Very disappointing
