The location is amazing! A short half mile walk to Quincy Market. A few blocks from a great little coffee shop. Super clean and friendly staff. I saw complaints about noise but you are right downtown so that is to be expected. I sleep with ear plugs amyways, and slept all night. Room was small but sufficient for two adults. Hot water for shower any time of the day was a definite plus.
Outlets could be closer to the bed and hooks or a shelf in the shower would be a plus. Parking in the Govt garage was ok. I saw complaints about having to walk back through a shady part of town, but I just went down a different street. No issues.

Location convenient to my business and personal focus points (MGH, Courthouse, Beacon Hill, Target, Interstate 93). Not too far from Boston Common and Downtown Crossing. Room - loved the comfortable king bed and, comfortable bedding. Bathroom - very nicely appointed from configuration, to fit out (higher end) and amenities (lovely towels and soap/shampoo line). Carpet could use a shampoo and high intensity vacuuming. Chair at desk could use sliders or low profile wheels. I could not move it without a struggle and tripped over it a few times after giving up on pushing it fully back under the desk. In small rooms like yours this kind of little touch makes a big difference. Sliders would be cheaper fix, but I would have preferred an armless ergonomic office chair on wheels. Bedside lighting is stylish, but so dim. Too bright for a night light, but nowhere near bright enough for reading. Not sure how that could be fixed cheaply except for increase on bulb wattage...and go from amber to soft white.

The location of the property was fantastic for walking all over the city! The bed was comfy ( pillows… not so much) and overall it felt mostly clean.
Our shower was cracking, the sink is TINY and there’s only one, the filters and ac was very dusty, and the lamps were annoying - there’s a lamp under the tv and the light bulb hangs lower than the shade so when you turn it on and lay on the bed, you are blinded. It’s also tethered to the wall so there’s no way to move it and we detest overhead lighting. I was also told we could order drinks up to our room by one staff member and when I called, another staff member said we couldn’t. Their website says to reach out to the front desk for ice, but when I did, I was told it was on the third floor. We were also told room service was available until 11 but when we called at 8:52 pm to order food, we were told the kitchen was closing and no longer taking orders.

Very nice building, clean, and welcoming. I stayed on a Wednesday night going to a Celtics game (we won). So I wasn’t able to get dinner from the restaurant at the hotel, but I did get breakfast (room service) it was delicious! And exceeded my expectations! A little pricey, but it was worth every penny!
The rooms are on the smaller side..but I have never stayed in a hotel inside Boston.. so this might just be the standard size for hotel rooms. Finding the hotel was not easy, I used my walking maps, and it brought me on the other side of TD garden, there is a boxing gym, named boxer. So it kept getting mixed up!

The room was spartan but comfortable, reasonably well appointed while compact. Good location relative to places of interest in the neighborhood. The staff was great, although somewhat understaffed, especially in the dining room/bar area.
You cannot provide excellent service to all of your guests at the staffing levels established by the property management. One bartender - regardless of their proficiency - cannot service the bar, the dining room and room service without someone receiving less than excellent service. Your guests are paying for excellent service and have every right to expect to receive just that and nothing less.

Great location. Walkable to bars, restaurants, shops & tourist attractions. Nice hotel bar. Had breakfast one day, due to a $20 credit applied, which was nice. Staff very helpful. Quiet air con. Close to train station for travel to airport for a few dollars.
Room was lovely, but smaller than expected. It didn’t help that the bed base took up extra unnecessary floor space (as the mattress was much smaller), but it was at narrow end of building. L’Occitane bathroom products (lovely), but wrong products in bottles (not so lovely putting body lotion on hair instead of conditioner!).

Location was perfect! Near Boudin T train stn and round the corner from North Station. We were able to walk everywhere in the city during our stay. Staff very friendly.
Not enough staff for breakfast one of the days. One poor girl serving under tremendous pressure. Unclear billing, were told there was $20 credit against food & bev per day but at checkout, appeared to be only once per stay.

Boutique Hotel, great customer service, clean, kind, friendly people. Rooms are small…it’s Boston, square footage comes at a premium! Bed was very comfortable! Great location, centrally located to hop on and off the T to get anywhere in the city! Would have been nice to have an outdoor area to sit and have coffee, but overall we would recommend The Boxer!
