Location was wonderful and the staff was great. The central area was a great place to meet with colleagues and the bar created wonderful drinks.

Rooms were too hot even though the air conditioners were set to 65. The air conditioning units didn't seem to work as long or as often as they needed to. That needs to be fixed immediately as it decreased my amount of sleep. Also, the workout area could use a little more equipment for that big a hotel.

The breakfast was great, although I know now to order a small bowl of the oatmeal.

The lighting was rather dim in most of the common areas which caused me to move a little slower than usual. I booked this specific hotel because it was within walking distance to MA Eye & Ear Infirmary which was the reason for my trip to Boston.

We were in Boston for a medical appointment at Mass General and the hotel is practically attached to the hospital. The lobby is impressive and the room and bathroom were very comfortable. We were offered champagne upon arrival.

We requested an extra blanket and it never came. My husband had to go down to the front desk to request one again.

Free morning coffee. Facility is beautiful and well designed. Room was comfortable.

The price of the room and meals was exorbitant. We learned at check in that we would have been able to get a substantial discount if we had booked directly with the hotel rather than through Bookings.com because we were in Boston for a medical appointment at Mass Eye and Ear. It is unfortunate as we are of limited income.

Nice renovation from an old jailhouse.

The door of the toilet in the room is not good design. There is a big crack even when the door is closed. It can see clearly from the outside . It’s very embarrassing for me a a mother sharing a room with my son. As he walk past can see inside when I am in the toilet.

Clean, upscale, proximity to Mass General

Clink Restaurant- food was good but the service was SLOW!!! Went there 3 times, so it wasn’t fluke. Need more staff. The wait was UNACCEPTABLE!

The Concierge Marc Shiro was an absolute treasure to decorate our room for our Anniversary!

Staff were amazingly helpful and pleasant. Decor was unique and fun. Location was excellent. The variety of restaurant/bar options added to the experience.

Everything was lovely. The quality of the service provided and the creative design of the space justified the higher than average room rates.

A great ambiance an extraordinary setting g preserving history and elevating it to discrete and modern sound comfort and elegance. A very attentive human quality service , the liberty values every penny. It is now our new “home”in Boston.

The location was pure perfection! A little tricky to find by car, but once we figured the turns out, ideal! The hotel is classic and rich with history. Pure elegance and welcoming staff. Our room was incredible! Walkable to so many parts of the city. Loved every thing about our stay!
