Position. The best. Near to airport and best restaurants, shopping area, and other important Boston places.

Ratio cost versus room. The room was nice but small for a family and the two beds were not super comfortable. Said that, the people and services were excellent. We did not test the restaurant but it was always looking busy. The library. The bike rental despite our late arrival made impossible to book it for the day after. They support us for the baggage’s and remained highly flexible by providing one hour more in the room. Not granted in every hotel. If they could improve a bit the beds, I guess would have been an outstanding performance.

The location was excellent! We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to visit

We had the king room with the bathroom. Was extremely small and cramped. I had no idea. Difficult for two people to maneuver around in such a small area. It was nicely decorated and very clean.

Everything was amazing. Amazing location. Such helpful and friendly staff. Everyone we met there was so kind. The shared bathrooms didn’t even feel like they were shared they were always so clean and always available. Cosmicas restaurant was connected to hotel and it was fabulous! We travelled on a group and it’s rare that everyone would love a places as much as we did. If I get the chance to visit Boston again , I’ll definitely revisit this hotel!

We tried to go to the spy bar downstairs on a Saturday evening and they told us it was closed, which was shocking for a Saturday ! But everything else about the hotel was amazing, this really didn’t impact our stay at all.

Friendly and approachable staff at reception, always happy to giving directions and recommendations on dinner. Hotel is modern and well-decorated. Rooms are very comfortable and air-conditioned (for a hot summer). Initially hesitant at staying in a room with shared bathroom but could not fault how extremely clean everything was every time I went to use the toilet or shower. Hotel even provided a bag with robe, towels, slippers, lotion, and soap for use. Good small gym that provided towels and water. Good location, very close to multiple restaurants and less than ten minute walk to the nearest subway station.

The location of the hotel is really nice. You can reach the city center on foot in about 25–30 minutes. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. We stayed on the 5th floor. I was very worried about the shared bathroom and toilet situation at first, but it turned out to be much better than expected. There were 5 bathrooms on our floor, and each one was private—assigned to a single guest—and included a shower inside. Even at midnight, the staff were cleaning, and everything was spotless. Our room was a double room with a street view. The bed was very large and extremely comfortable. The room was well-equipped with slippers, clean towels, and bathrobes. I think it was excellent in terms of price-performance ratio. Thank you!

Thanks.

Extremely nice accommodation, matches the description. The whole hotel was clean and organized. The staff was always nice, kind, and helpful. Although not the closest to the metro station, it is a walkable distance, and the hotel is in a safe neighborhood. All amenities were provided and of good quality and quantity, from towels to shower gels, etc. The lobby further offers a lot of free space to wait for taxis or pass the time (free luggage room is provided upon asking) – there is also affordable caffee.

The only disadvantage is that the room is fairly small. I traveled alone, stayed in a room for two; however, if there were two people, there would not be enough space. It is however, perfect for short stays (one or two nights).

Great location, loved the decor, comfortable beds, spacious rooms and windows that open! We booked a loft room in the building next door, so we had our own bathroom and kitchenette. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Mexican bar/restaurant next door is very good.

The kitchenette was very basic - no knife to cut with, missing cutlery. The bathroom needed minor maintenance (towel rail coming off wall, sliding door hard to close). There’s no housekeeping, which is understandable at this style of accommodation, but note your bins won’t be emptied.

The check-in process was very smooth, and the hotel is nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. The rooms were exactly as described in the site, with comfortable beds and enough space for everyone. The location is fantastic, very close to Boston Common. If I stay again in Boston, I would definitely consider the hotel again.

The toilets are located inside the shower rooms, and there were only 4 of them for our section of the corridor (hosting approximately 10-12 people when full, if I'm not mistaken). It would be nice to have additional toilets, or have them separate from the showers so they are accessible more often.

Was convenient to have a restaurant/bar as well as the little coffee shop near the front. We stayed in a king size room without a private bathroom so had to use the communal ones. Although a little skeptic at first it wasn’t bad at all! Still had privacy and appreciated the staff constantly making sure each maintained cleanliness.

The room was definitely smaller than expected, even for a king size room. However nothing entirely wrong with it depending on your length and purpose of stay (we were there for 2 nights and were mostly out and about anyway). Do think the total cost for the stay could have been lower due to the room size and for not having our own bathroom.

The Revolution Hotel is in such a good location. It is an easy walk to Back Bay station, has a 7-11 across the street and is in such a nice area of Boston (feeling very local). The staff were always very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's facilities were great - these included a gym, hot water dispenser, microwave and the bathrooms were cleaned constantly. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

The air conditioner was quite temperamental but I finally got the right setting to keep us warm.
