Loved that this property was located right next to the prudential building, and within walking distance to Boston commons park. The entire building was extremely clean and the staff was incredibly friendly, no matter who/what time of day we were approached with happy and accommodating employees.
My only ONLY thing I did not like was that the bathroom doors were barn door with latch, and there was a gap in the center where someone could easily look into the bathroom… not great being a mom and you have a bunch of boys with you!

Beautiful hotel with amazing comfortable bed and room. We stayed in a river view king with a sweeping Charles River vista. Amazing. It was ~700/ night and we celebrated a birthday. Enjoyed a few meals — once watching the all star game which was super fun. Delicious lobster roll and salad and drinks. Waiter was super fun and relaxed and efficient — has worked here for 20 years. Amazing feat on his part. Once we left for another city we realized we had left items in our room in a drawer. We called their housekeeping department and this awesome employee, Luciano Pires, took great care of our predicament with care, aplomb, and such professionalism. Please thank him for service beyond the norm. We look forward to staying at the Westin again. Copley Place was the very best location for enjoying everything in Boston- we caught a Red Sox game, took the subway to sites, and ate incredible food within walking distance. Victoria at the concierge desk is also quite a gem!

The location was fantastic! Easy to get everything! The room was comfortable and clean. No complaint on the bathroom either.
The breakfast in the hotel was average. Also, my waitress disappeared a lot, it's really hard to ask for something. It was a Thursday morning passed 9:00, the restaurant wasn't that busy at all. At the end of our meal, I needed a paper cup for my coffee, waited for long time and still couldn't see our waitress so that I had to walk up to the bar to ask for it. Thanks to the bartender who was very nice and helpful.

River view is amazing. Location is fantastic, it rained for a while but we were able to just walk through the downtown malls. We didn’t interact much with staff but the receptionist was friendly and helpful. They offered a resort fee rebate where you can spend it on their bar- basically a $30 free allowance in our case. Plenty of elevators to use. No waiting times.
Actually, the bar looked cozy but the drinks were quite bad. The entrance we used - they have a couple, this was was on floor 2 - was very sad. A lot of empty spaces in their specific mall. We got this overnight on a good value price, not sure I’d justify spending more though, and I assume it’ll be more expensive in high season.

Location is great. Dynamic, historic area, and safe. Room is generous and comfortable and the bed is very good. Television streaming works perfectly unlike so many other places where this is hard or b=not available. Room service and cleaning staff were lovely genuine people who did a great job. Probably the best staff I have encountered in my travels.
It’s hard to find things - such as the connection of the hotel over to the shopping centre. I felt like I was wandering in to places maybe I should not be entering to find it. Also ordering food from room service was a challenge. First time I did it online and the second time that would not work. Lifts broke down.

You cannot beat the views of the river from this hotel, and the location is great - close to Newbury Street and the T. Bedding was comfortable and it was nice to have a mini fridge.
The coffee situation at this hotel is just terrible - no in-room machines, the coffee shop in the lobby is simply awful, and so we paid $30 a day that we couldn't use....and we tried. We thought we could at least get pastries, but the cashier couldn't confirm if any of the items were nut-free, and happily told us about an incident where they accidentally sent a child to the hospital with anaphylacsis because they didn't know that their chocolate croissants had hazelnuts. Check-in clerk was very unfriendly and curt. This area is convenient, but at night, it can be sketchy. We had an incident near the hotel, and I am grateful I wasn't walking alone when it happened.

Location, facility, cleaning staff. Connected to Copley Center meaning that there were numerous dining options accessible while staying indoors.
I was told via messaging that we would be able to request a rollaway bed at check-in and then told at check-in that this was not possible due to our room type. I felt that this could have easily been communicated at the time of the initial inquiry; however, two nights into our four-night stay, a rollaway was delivered to our room while we were out exploring the city.

I booked a larger size Queen room. It was wonderfully furnished with an L-shaped sofa and windows on two sides, overlooking the Back Bay and Charles River. Shower was good with plenty of hot water -- no "Chinese water torture" here. Despite the hotel hosting two conferences, the hallways were quiet and I couldn't hear the traffic outside. The hotel also has a direct tunnel connection to the Copley Square Mall and Marriott Boston Copley Plaza hotel so plenty of opportunities for shopping and choice of restaurants.
I wish that the room had a proper bureau as I ended up having to store my clothing in the nightstand drawers. The floor was also engineered hardwood with no carpet -- steps echoed and I'm sure if there was a person below me, they would have heard them. I heard the ones above me.

Location in heart of back bay. Can walk most places from here Our room was amazing, clean and modern with all amenities you need . Nice bar.
Breakfast arrangement said it was included but staff were unable to decide if we had it and it was not a buffet only at weekends . We luckily had club access so went there for breakfast but would not bother with club really you have to pay for drinks and canapé selection is slim of an evening.

Everything was perfect, starting with location, you don’t need to rent a car, back bay metro station (orange and green) are walking distance. You have plenty food options near the hotel (including Fogo the Chão in the same building of the hotel), airport is 20 minutes from the hotel. Friendly staff and 100% customer service oriented. It’s a traditional 5 stars hotel. Gym facilities are big enough for 30 people at the same time.
They have a problem with the key fobs, I changed at least 5 times, that bothered me or my kids because you can’t used the elevator or open the room and we have to comeback to the front desk every single time. For the checkout elevators don’t stop on lower floors (25 to lobby), because they came full from upper floors, we spent at least 10 minutes waiting until I went up (last floor) and then we stopped every single floor to the 25). Regardless of this we loved it and we will comeback.
