Beautiful hotel, very comfy bed, fantastic location with easy access to Andover Downtown within 10min walk. Very quiet and green area with lots of walking trails.

The WiFi was a bit choppy, it dropped one night and although I was able to connect on my laptop, it didn't work on my phone. It's a bit of a shame that the restaurant is closed as I was looing forward to trying it out after having heard lots of positive reviews from colleagues. The gym is very basic but enough when staying for just a few days.

The Andover Inn is iconic. A classic and classy hotel on the edge of the Phillips Academy campus within a 5-10 minute walk to downtown Andover. The location is perfect. It's a lovely older hotel, but has been updated so the amenities are fine. The bed is super comfortable, bathroom is small but clean. The room was very quaint, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of room for the two of us. The front desk staff were delightful; extremely helpful and friendly.

Perhaps because it was a holiday weekend, or a symptom of a post-pandemic economy, but there were very few restaurants open on Memorial Day, including the hotel restaurant and bar. We had hoped to find a place to watch Game 7 of the Celtics v. Heat game, which had an 8:30 p.m. start time, but no place that was open for dinner would stay open past 9 pm. We heard that restaurants and bars in the area still struggle to find help so they tend to close early and often.

Very comfortable old fashioned inn. Very responsive staff. The food in the dining room was delicious!

I opened my window for a bit of fresh air and it came out of the frame and the Roman curtains had no cords. Bob was quick to come and put the window back in but wasn't able to help with the Roman curtains. It wasn't a big deal but they might make some changes with their windows.

Conveniently located.

It wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped. Pillows smelled dirty. Window shades weren’t functional, so for privacy, my room was dark at all times. Room amenities were very low-grade, like a budget hotel.

Excellent location, very historic, the grounds and area are quite lovely.

The coffee pot could have worked better. However, the staff was very gracious and supplied me with hot water in the evening. I appreciated the great recommendations as to the historic points in the area. I had a lovely and peaceful stay.

Very comfortable hotel in a very picturesque setting. We were visiting our daughter at Merrimack College so the location was just perfect for our needs. Would have liked to spend a bit more time at the hotel as the facilities looked great but there was an event on during our stay so it was very busy. Will definitely be back!

lovely grounds, historic building, comfortable quiet rooms, great staff. and complimentary good hot coffee all day!

Location to the town. The Inn is in a lovely setting too.

Breakfast included in the price would be nice!

Breakfast was not offered however, there are a number of places within a short walking distance to eat. Coffee was provided in lobby and in room.
