great location, views, rooms spacious and with a terrace that was secluded (on the first floor, ground floor patios all blended into each other so might be an issue for those looking for a bit more privacy but first floor was perfect). rooms had a good rustic cottage feel to them, simple but very functional.

it was a bit of a gay disco vibe around the pool and music going but not super loud and not all night, but definitely a bit more of a party hotel than quiet romantic location. but this is also a plus as it was lively.

Impeccable service. Charming room. Very quiet. Awesome water pressure in shower. A lot of creature comforts provided, blankets towels, and available on site. Breakfast was a consistent spread with good fresh fruit. The most delicious coffee ever.

One suggestion is better ventilation in the rooms or the ability to open the window.

We stayed at AWOL as a party of 4 the weekend of Halloween. The room not only had impeccable style but was also clean with comfortable and high quality accommodations (toiletries were from DS&Durga!!!). Plenty of tasty and healthy-ish offerings for breakfast. The owners of AWOL were very friendly and even helped with my weird request to borrow their microwave for putting on vampire fangs! Would definitely stay here again when traveling to P-town.

Expected a microwave in the room, but there was none. Luckily, one of the staff let me borrow the one at the front office.

Wonderful stay in this ‚lands’ end‘ design hotel a little outside from P-Town. From outside rather a non-spectacular motel down a small road. But inside has a lot of ‚wow‘ moments, especially the view into the incredible marshland. Room design is very cozy and laid back. Cool staff, small but sufficient pool, lovely outdoor fireplace, easy and yummy self-service breakfast.

Only minor things: due to size and style of the interior, some things are less practical, such as a very low light in the bedroom when it’s dark, not a lot space or hooks to place your wardrobe, and rather low, but comfortable beds (maybe a bit low for older travelers with back problems). But these are almost ‚not to mention issues‘, compared to the terrific view, the cool design and friendly people.

We have visited AWOL on several occasions over the last 3 years The location is perfect,across from sand dunes and inlet waters. Close to commercial st restaurants and activities,yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Rooms are amazing,with relaxing private decks .I especially love the setup of the bathroom . Showers are large and delightful , interior of facilities are very modern ,yet comfy and quaint. Continental Breakfast is extensive,and fresh. Facility is Clean as can be. Cleaning staff is on point. Most of all we are treated as family,by the management staff. aWOL is pet friendly and we are able to take our best friend Sebastian (Persian cat)with us ,when we chose to . Finally,I can’t forget about Clint. The most amazing man/manager ever . Kind ,friendly,and extremely accommodating. Always helpful when we need him. Which with us ,is often . We have bonded with Clint and consider him our friend now .Clint is one of the reasons we will return,year after year . P.S we stayed on two separate occasions this summer Both so enjoyable

Every detail has been thought of at AWOL, there is so much time and consideration made for the customer experience and it really shows. The staff are genuinely friendly and it was the best experience.

Nothing to add here except a suggestion to have a few bikes with a basket at the front so you can carry your shopping, water or a jacket. Other than that, it was wonderful.

There are so many amazing things I loved about this property. It looked exactly like the pictures and the staff was amazing! It was a beautiful walk right over to boys beach and I enjoyed every bit of my stay! Andrew really gave my husband and I an exceptional experience for our honeymoon! This will now be the only place we stay at when we visit.

I was looking for somewhere to relax for 3 days during a 1 week trip and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Clint and Andrew were amazing hosts and were there for everything that I needed. Having a buffet breakfast (which was awesome) on site was incredibly convenient as was the unlimited coffee! I used a bike (free) every day and also did a lot of walking. The room was excellent and I was able to relax when I wanted to or head out exploring the beaches that were close by. I had an amazing stay and looking forward to coming back!

Great location, beautiful view, close to the action and cute rooms. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the outdoor seating and fire pits.

Would have appreciated a little nightstand to put your phone and laptop on. Otherwise, great experience.

Hosts were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Attention to detail was fantastic, wonderful selection for breakfast. The bikes were great for getting around and easily available and no extra cost. A very vibes place to stay x
