Very well updated hotel with all the amenities you would expect from a good hotel room. Happy Hour on Friday was great. Coffee was good at the main coffeemaker in hotel lobby. Fire pit was delightful at night. Beach right outside the room was beautiful both a t low tide and very swimmable at high tide

It would have been nice to have some small type of continental breakfast (didn't have to be free) at the hotel so you didn't have to go out searching for something to eat in the morning. Shuttle buses were available but slightly irregular. Seemed like we had always just missed the last one. Ride sharing bikes and scooters are nice, but they are kind of sketchy, and you have to be extremely careful using the app not to be overcharged by the service.

The room was attractive. The staff were exceptional, especially the gal who worked nights. The location was good because of the shuttle bus. The shower was nice. The pool is big and very clean. The coffee in the morning was hot and good. You have access to a microwave and toaster. I would definitely be back but ask for a different room, maybe the 2nd floor would be quieter.

The rooms were noisy, especially near the ice maker. No sound barrier. The pool gets crowded with lots of people and part of it is because anyone can use the pool, even if you aren't staying there. I'm surprised there are no life guards to prevent accidents. The children are running and diving into the pool. The prices at the pool bar are high. $5 for a soda that is mostly ice, ridiculous! There is no privacy in the bathroom because of the farm door that rolls. They should have hooks for wet towels. There is no bureau to put in clothing. The room needs a full length mirror and brighter light.

Loved the location right on the bay. Beautiful looking out the window and seeing the water. The free shuttle to town was a huge plus and the driver was so informative. We also loved walking to town. Peaceful and the scenery is gorgeous! Only a 25 minute walk. The room was nice with Beekman toiletries. Loved the morning yoga bayside. So relaxing! The coffee in lobby was delicious and plentiful!

The no food or drinks in pool courtyard area! It was off putting when a guy comes up to you saying you can’t have a bottle of water and that you must get from him. I think it’s a little greedy to have to buy food and drink when using a hotel pool that you already paid to use but if they want that as a policy at least let know at checkin. It really changed our vibe being approached like that.

This was our 3rd stay at the Harbor Hotel and we continue to really appreciate the friendly staff, Miami Beach-style decor and overall vibe, relatively large and bright rooms w/ balconies, ample parking, heated pool, and convenience to the beach (right across the street), Dune Shacks and Old Colony Trails (waking distance away), and downtown P-town (a short drive away). We plan to return once the renovation is complete!

As aforementioned, we were a little surprised about the ongoing, massive renovation the hotel is currently undergoing. We are hoping it maintains its colorful vibe once the dust settles but we did have to deal w/ construction noise for much of the day even on weekends and most of the hotel was currently closed for said construction. The workers were respectful and we still enjoyed our stay but it was not as relaxing as it could have been. Also hopefully the construction will improve the soundproofing of the room doors; we were awoken by drunken antics in the hallway at 0200 one night. Finally breakfast and a fitness room would be nice in the future. Thanks!

The hotel is dog friendly and there is a beach across the road in front of the hotel. There is a nice private balcony and a fridge in the room. The room is nice and it was very quiet.

We’ve stayed here many times. The only issues were that the stopper didn’t work in the tub so I had to take a shower instead of a bath. Also there was some construction going on they are obviously spending a lot of money to renovate but our room was fine. I was scared because the fire alarm went off at night and I smelled and saw smoke. The construction workers were using an outdoor grill in their room. The hotel manager took care of it. It ended up being not a big deal.

The pool and grounds were very nice. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There are very clean and well-maintained common areas for groups. It is nice to have a hotel of this size with these amenities that is not a chain.

Not hotel's fault: Do not use the bike shares out front. Horribly, not maintained at all - my first bike was broken, and I rented it with 2 others, and could not put just one away, so had to pay for four bikes, one of which was parked and broken. Generally assessing the bikes, the tires were low and chains rusty. I spent less renting a premium bike from shop for four hours than I did renting a broken bike for 65 minutes. The bikes are not operated by the hotel but they should not have them on their property. Just a warning to future guests.

Location was right at the point where it wasn’t too long to walk into town. It took us about 30 mins, but we also enjoyed renting a scooter for 10 mins to get us back to the hotel ($~6.00 if you drive slowly), and taking the complimentary shuttle from the hotel when it was running from 3-9 pm. There’s also a city bus that gets you into town that runs until 1 am for $2pp. Driving in can be a bit treacherous because the street is narrow and filled with people, but parking in the lot is $4/hour. Plenty of ways to get where you need to go. We went into town every night, since there was so much to do (shows, bars, dinner, shopping, galleries, history of sex museum, etc). We frequented Rosie’s, because my daughter loved their nachos, but also found some equally delicious Chinese food off the main street. The property at the hotel is very well maintained. The pictures are exactly what you see. The rooms are not carpeted, but having lived in a house on the beach, the carpet quickly becomes a musty sand trap. You’d rather have concrete under your feet. WiFi, internet, and TV worked fine. The pool area is clean: there’s plenty of seating, including two hammocks, and club chairs around the 2 fire pits. When the weather was either rainy or cold, we enjoyed playing Jenga, ping pong and billiards in the rec room, or reading in the lobby, where you can purchase snacks or have complimentary tea and coffee. The bay is 10 steps from the property. You have to cross Commercial Street but you can either walk over some rocks or there are access points (stairs) with lounge chairs. At low tide I was able to walk far out on the beach and spot the most remarkable scallop shells. Wading in the warm water was tranquil.

I truly cannot complain about anything. I suppose I would’ve liked breakfast for the price, but how do you manage that when you’re short staffed?! Maybe when this country goes back to work, they will offer that. 👍🏼

The grounds were very clean. The people at the front desk were outstanding. We loved the fire pits and that they once by the pool were still operating this late into the season. A very nice perk.

It took about 10 minutes — REALLY — for the water in the shower to turn hot. We stayed two nights, and had no maid service. Wish somebody at least took the used towels and replenished them, or at least, which there was a sign in the room saying there is not daily maid service. Ice machine was poor.

Since it’s a long walk or drive to any market or food it would be nice if the pool bar hours were longer to service an early dinner. And while the coffee and small breakfast items were great, a more extensive breakfast would be amazing and a better use of all that dining space you have inside.

The shuttle could have run longer. 8:30 is too early to get back from a dinner in town. And the bar closed at 4 which pulled us out of the pool and beach for food earlier than we wanted.

The staff kindly upgraded our booking to a water facing room, due to it being our tenth wedding anniversary. A lovely touch that made our stay so much better. Shuttle bus ran every half hour just outside our room, with the friendliest bus drivers I've ever met. Five minute journey into Provincetown centre. Great swimming pool. My wife and I hope to return to this hotel some day. I strongly recommend The Harbor Hotel for a wonderful and affordable stay in Provincetown.
