Not really what I expected, which was a quaint, retro, lakefront inn. It was a little too retro, it was on a lake, it was not exactly "quaint". I could tell someone has tried really hard to give it that vibe....rooms were VERY clean, bed was updated with a comfy mattress and memory foam pillows, fluffy, clean towels. A lovely view out over the small lake. But also, a little grungy, on a busy, congested highway....just not the setting I had envisioned. They offer an option to rent by the week, with a folding chair and ashtray outside the front door of each unit. That's the vibe. I got the room for $68 on Booking. Upon arrival, the clerk offered to update to a bigger room overlooking the lake for $10 more. He showed us the rooms and we agreed. Then he called somebody, discussed with them for several minutes, then redid our bill, for $89, $94 total, with tax. At this point, I really needed to check in to the room, so I paid. Let's just say there are much better options in the area in the $100 range.

Art was wonderful to work with. Both he and the rest of the staff were very kind, considerate, and attentive. Knowing I was traveling with my son, but not sure how old the kid was, he made sure to put me on the end where it would be quieter. The front looks like a standard motel, but the rooms were very clean and the blankets and sheets were really soft! The ability to walk out the back and relax on the deck was great, and I loved the added benefit of the free kayak and paddle boats! They even gave me a later checkout so I could go out on the lake a bit on my last day there.

Bed was a little firm for my liking, but it worked out just fine.

It was very nice for a weekend get away if you're looking for just a place to be. I got it for my spouse for his birthday so that he could game for a day. WiFi was good, view outside was lovely, staff was nice and accommodating, dog fee was reasonable and they had a very nice set up for those with dogs. Close to many things in walking distance. Loved having the small kitchenette set up.

Only minor things. Our AC/heating unit was a bit loud, the shower took us a smidge to get right and had some rust staining, the freezer of the mini fridge like most didn't work. But seriously, minor, minor things. It was what we were looking for and would go back again.

Wow! The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the amenities were great!! The rooms provided anything you might need. There is a lovely deck out back overlooking the lake, perfect to sit and relax. They provided paddle boats and kayaks that we were able to use and had a great time out on the lake. The only downside was we couldn’t stay any longer! We will be back! Thank you!!

Clean, quaint old school motel but with a cabin feel. The water side porch was a great place to gather and watch the turtles, ducks and fish! The added amenities of kayaks, paddle boats and fishing was truly a plus!

Such a quaint place to stay. Such charm to the room and I loved how it was on the lake. Opened the back door to the patio and had the wonderful view of the lake. In the morning enjoyed coffee while watching the ducks and geese come by for a visit and also lots of fish to view. Such a great find and would recommend to others

The room was fantastic, the view is gorgeous, the room was clean, everything worked correctly, nice kitchenette. Small beach, paddleboats and kayaks to use. Tons of fish and a few turtles. We already booked for the end of August, 2 rooms to bring the kids back.

The motel was quiet, pretty location on a lake, walk out back door onto deck right at the water. Very clean rooms and bathrooms.

The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. They allowed us some additional time the morning after our stay so that we could enjoy/tour the lake on paddleboat! Perfectly quaint & cozy cabin feel!

Everything was fitting for the accommodations.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Had a great personality and very friendly. The room was very cottage/ lake vacation feeling. Perfect for a couple wanting a day or few day getaway.
