Some people at the reception are very helpful, thank you!! The room was clean and in a quiet area, thank you for that!

The smell of marijuana inside the hotel. It smelled horrible sometimes in the elevator or around some rooms. It should be in writing that not only smoking, but also marijuana is prohibited inside the hotel!

The breakfast was very good and the waitress was phenomenal. The room was very nice and clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff brought us extra pillows for an even better night's sleep. It was wonderful being able to bring our puppy along as this property is dog friendly. There was no mention that the pet fee was $75 and we probably wouldn't have brought the puppy if we knew that, but the hotel staff were very accommodating as the hot tub was out of service being repaired/painted and so they waived the pet fee. This was just another excellent customer service gesture and made the stay even better.

We really did miss not having the hot tub to enjoy but understand maintenance and painting needs to be done at times. The TV did not have an option to screen mirror from the phone or be able to cast to the TV so we were unable to watch YOUTUBE from the TV, so we had to watch from our phone.

The interaction with the front desk clerk upon my arrival. She was having a difficult day but still maintained a smile. I could see something was wrong but she maintained her professionalism inspite of an issue with keys at the property and she was prepared just in case.

The mattress was very hard, so we didn't sleep well that night and the bartender was not very friendly and almost seemed irritated that we were there. Not very friendly at all.

My husband was one of the Iron Workers who set the iron when this hotel was being built. This is our first opportunity to stay as we normally book air bnb's when coming to Michigan. I was extremely pleased with the staffing of professional and friendly people, and though I surface clean every room we book, I found the cleanliness of the room to be exceptional.

Such a little thing, but everything was high quality so I was disappointed when my husband found the bathroom to have the cheapest toilet paper. I went to 5he closest store to buy some Charmin.

Very nice stay. Clean and comfy. We drove down from traverse city to run a half marathon and chose this hotel because it has a hot tub but unfortunately it was closed. Apparently lots of children were using it and it was quite contaminated 😔. Oh well. Things like that happen. We had a hot shower in the room instead

Everything was great besides the hot tub being closed. It was a little disappointing but can’t really blame anyone. There were about 10 children in it the night before

The room was really clean, not fake clean. All of the staff were wonderful, especially Amy who checked us in and accommodated our request for a quiet room and late checkout. I felt comfortable. Did I mention that this hotel is very clean!

I love that the rooms have Keurig coffee makers, however, I think all hotels could benefit from having a cleaning pod that guests could run through if they choose. There was some build up in the machine.

The beds were comfy. I was disappointed when I saw the stand up shower. Mom of a 1 and 3 year old I was looking forward to just soaking in a bathtub with some wine. Couldnt use the hot tub since i recently had surgery and cant soak incisions. Thats why i wanted a bathtub since its not as deep and better control

Nice, clean room. Good heat/AC system. Pleasant staff. Whirlpool spa was a great wind down after a long day.

Sheets stiff, (but I know they have to be heavily bleached to make them sanitary for each guest- and that they are washed in hard water). Also, despite description, the indoor pool was NOT heated.

The breakfast was good and so was the service.

Housekeeping could have done a better job. No emptying of the garbage, no body gave us clean towels. I had to go to the front desk and get the clean towels.

The stay was nice. At 130pm in the afternoon they decided to clean pool. I chose this location because of the Hot tub and Pool. I was happy as the maintenance man gave a goody bad to us for the inconvenience of the pool area being shut down

the web site stated HEATED POOL. That pool is not in no way heated.
