The bed was comfortable.

We book two rooms the double queen bed had a issue with the tub handle and my mom who is handicapped stayed in there so trying to get her in and out the tub was already hard and trying to work the handle. I did let staff know. The king room that my husband and I stayed in the first room the tv didn’t work so we had to switch room after my husband suggested it because the reception didn’t have any other options for us. I didn’t realize it was a new staff member but we had to keep going downstairs to get our room keys reactivated each day.

I stayed here because of an unexpected flight delay/change. I was only there for a total of like 6 hours hahaha but the bed was comfy, the room was huge, plenty of toiletries. If I was planning on staying in Detroit longer than I'm sure I would have enjoyed a longer stay here. Conveniently located by the airport and there was a free shuttle. Considering I booked and checked in all within an hour, I was very impressed. There was definitely a distinct vibe, like you could film a good movie here. I felt safe but there was a fun spooky atmosphere. Loved it.

The stay was adequate. I never understand the additional $25 put on file for incidentals. What incidentals ? There is no bar in the room. I would think that since I've stayed at Comfort Inns several times, there would be some record of my stays never requiring or using incidentals.

I called ahead of time to find out if this was the same Comfort Inn I stayed in last time, but was informed they could not give me that information even they can see my called ID.

Huge comfortable room - whirlpool bath available in addition to shower room. Very large bed. Plenty of hanging space. Shuttle bus to and from airport was easy to arrange (even at 1am). Simple breakfast but enough range to find something you can enjoy (cereals, eggs, waffles, bagels). And quiet! Far enough from the airport to not be bothered by planes but only 10 minutes or so on the shuttle.

The staff was great, we had to change rooms and they were very accommodating.

The stupid booking.com app messed up and I got charged for three rooms instead of two room. The guy at the desk tryed to fix it but since I used booking.coms 3rd party app there was nothing he could do so I had to rent two more rooms on the date that I selected to actually go down on.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one evening prior to a flight and it was a perfect choice. It was great to have a restaurant on site and the shuttle was very prompt taking us to the airport in the morning. The lady at the desk was very friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Hotel is a little far away from any gas stations, restaraunts, or convenience stores, so if you are only using the shuttle as your transportation, plan ahead. Otherwise, great value, location, and a convenient place to stay!

Breakfast was adequate with a few choices of foods including eggs and bagels, yogurt etc.

We booked this hotel because it had a shuttle to and from the airport. The desk person did NOT tell us to look for the shuttle that said "Gateway" on the front after calling 3 times to ask where it was. Finally, after the 4th call to the hotel, the desk clerk was a different person who informed us we were to look for the Gateway shuttle. It had been at the airport a couple times but we thought we needed the Comfort Inn bus. So, we waited over an hour and half to finally get on the shuttle because we didn't have the right information.

Parking lot is well lit. Upon arrival the guests services clerk greeted and checked me in quickly. I really respect a person who really knows their job. The public spaces are very clean. I value Comfort Inn as a great place to stay when traveling.

My room had some tile falling off the base boards. AC at times was loud. No daily house keeping... for trash removal ect. especially with such little trash cans.
