I stayed here because of an unexpected flight delay/change. I was only there for a total of like 6 hours hahaha but the bed was comfy, the room was huge, plenty of toiletries. If I was planning on staying in Detroit longer than I'm sure I would have enjoyed a longer stay here. Conveniently located by the airport and there was a free shuttle. Considering I booked and checked in all within an hour, I was very impressed. There was definitely a distinct vibe, like you could film a good movie here. I felt safe but there was a fun spooky atmosphere. Loved it.

The stay was adequate. I never understand the additional $25 put on file for incidentals. What incidentals ? There is no bar in the room. I would think that since I've stayed at Comfort Inns several times, there would be some record of my stays never requiring or using incidentals.

I called ahead of time to find out if this was the same Comfort Inn I stayed in last time, but was informed they could not give me that information even they can see my called ID.

Breakfast was adequate with a few choices of foods including eggs and bagels, yogurt etc.

We booked this hotel because it had a shuttle to and from the airport. The desk person did NOT tell us to look for the shuttle that said "Gateway" on the front after calling 3 times to ask where it was. Finally, after the 4th call to the hotel, the desk clerk was a different person who informed us we were to look for the Gateway shuttle. It had been at the airport a couple times but we thought we needed the Comfort Inn bus. So, we waited over an hour and half to finally get on the shuttle because we didn't have the right information.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one evening prior to a flight and it was a perfect choice. It was great to have a restaurant on site and the shuttle was very prompt taking us to the airport in the morning. The lady at the desk was very friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Super close to the airport with free shuttle to and from DTW. Clean room, friendly staff, and free breakfast!

Hotel is a little far away from any gas stations, restaraunts, or convenience stores, so if you are only using the shuttle as your transportation, plan ahead. Otherwise, great value, location, and a convenient place to stay!

The staff was awesome. Bartender gal got my wife and I a couple of doubles to take to the room. **ten minutes after official closing. It'd been a hard day and the customer service was just what we needed.

In the morning the shuttle driver was on the phone and wanted me to hand our luggage up to him, um yeah, my wife and I both have spinal cord injuries and were already both pushing a walker at the moment. Then once we're at the airport notice my collapsible walker is no longer with us so driver didn't unload it when he dropped us off at the airport. I did call the comfort inn and they do have my walker, having my daughter Jacqueline Calender pick it up

Parking lot is well lit. Upon arrival the guests services clerk greeted and checked me in quickly. I really respect a person who really knows their job. The public spaces are very clean. I value Comfort Inn as a great place to stay when traveling.

My room had some tile falling off the base boards. AC at times was loud. No daily house keeping... for trash removal ect. especially with such little trash cans.

Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room. Even though near the airport, it was quiet enough to relax & sleep. Temperature was good. Bathroom clean. Breakfast was nice.

Mostly clean but some obvious stains showing on sheets of one bed even when it was made up so I slept in the other bed. All lampshades were broken but not super noticeable from a distance.

The lobby and our room were both clean and decorated nicely. The front desk clerk was friendly, knowledgeable and checked us in quickly.

Our toilet was very low to the ground, making it difficult to use. Twice a maid entered our room without knocking to see if we had checked out. This was about 9:30 and again at 10:00, well before the check out time.

We booked a park and stay, however we not get it. They charged us for daily parking on top of what we had already paid, which we were told included parking for the 5 days. We were very disappointed and it was not handled well by the cashier. We will find another hotel for our next stay in Sept. Very sad, because we would definitely have been a frequent customer had it worked out better.
