The check in. We booked and paid through Booking.com website in May. The clerk advised the Mastercard on file was denied. I explained I paid via AX. She then said it was the Mastercard given by Booking.com for the reservation. She would not give us a room until it was resolved. I said that’s between you and Booking.com as I paid them and you showed our reservation. After I tried to contact Booking.com through chat and text, 30 minutes later the clerk gave us a room. I don’t know how it was resolved but it wasn’t anything I could do about it. If this is a problem with Booking.com you should have a solution or not allow your property in their system.

We got up too early to enjoy breakfast, however it was lovely to be able to have some fresh brew coffee in the lobby area before we took the shuttle to the airport at 4:30am!

Staff could have been more helpful and friendly. Maybe they were having a bad day, but I was shocked at the front desk service and their impatience and lack of politeness throughout our stay. We are the types of people who say hello to service providers, we also say thank you, hope your day is going well… to not have any response was weird. We also had a rough check-in experience where the front desk blamed me for not having a booking and wouldn't process me even though my paperwork and pre-payment slip was right in front of them. It eventually got resolved, but never have I ever experienced a rude check-in experience like this before.

The hotel was in a good location close to the airport so it was quick to reach there late at night and to return early in the morning. The room was very good - we were upgraded since the room key to the first room we were allocated did not work, twice. The breakfast was of an appropriate standard. Value was reasonable.

The room was not serviced after the first night, which is not a problem to us, however, we could obtain coffee from reception but for some reason, not creamer. A minor irritant!

The staff was incredibly helpful. I was sick and missed my connecting flight and had to stay in Detroit overnight. They let me in a room early in the morning to rest and even checked on me. I can't tell much about the facilities since I was sleeping the while time but I would stay here again because of how accommodating they were.

I was visiting because I was in town to do a memorial service for my father. The staff members at the front desk were extremely helpful and nice. They helped me a lot with deliveries and with things needed for my father's memorial service and so much more. Whenever I needed assistance, they went over and beyond. I also thought the facilities offered a lot for my family and I. I would definitely go back.

Having a 5 night stay, I really did not care for the breakfast nor the fact that it was served on styrofoam plates. I would have appreciated more variety and a friendlier kitchen staff. The shower door in our room did not close all the way, so showers were messy.

Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet

Front desk check in clerk wasn't very friendly, impression I got was, she wasn't focused on a warm friendly greeting almost as if she wasn't in the room. Next morning she checked us out, no smile, didn't ask if our stay was pleasant, no "thank you" or "enjoy your day". She needs to work on her hospitality, a smile, any friendly gesture to greet customers to make them feel welcome.

Relationship with Quik Park was excellent.

AC unit was extremely loud - needs fixed as it was difficult to sleep. Walk in shower leaked water over the threshold despite every attempt to prevent it as there was no raised section on the outside of the threshold to prevent water from falling out and creating a pool of water in front of the shower that we had to mop up with the bathmat. Room 136. No eggs or sausage when we went down for breakfast around 6:45am.

The location was very convenient for us to catch an early morning flight at Detroit Metro airport. We had a handicap room, which provided lots of grab bars and safety features for my husband, who uses a wheelchair. iIt was very convenient for returning our rental car the night before leaving town.

The shower in the handicap bathroom had a short shower curtain, so water from the shower got all over the floor. It was actually MORE dangerous than if my husband had just had to step into a tub. Very slippery. Also, the bathroom had very little counter space for two people (that’s where the coffee maker was, too), so there was actually no place for me to use a curling iron with a mirror to curl my hair other than for me to sit on the bedroom floor and use the full-length mirror. I’m 68 years old, so this was not easy for me.

I had a very good comfortable pillows and bed.

I didn’t like the new $10 fee for parking. I was not expecting that and I didn’t like that breakfast was OK. Not many options to pick from.

Location was good. Surround with plenty of restaurants n local stores and close to airport n easy exit to Expressway. Also 12- 15 min from a walmart n shopping center

Breakfast need to be more value to choose from , there wasn't no fruits no eggs or pancakes. Need to step up there menu
