The staff was friendly check in was flawless. The liby is warm and Inviting. The coffee is surprisingly pretty good and available all day for free. Breakfast was pretty good .room had a view of the bay. Also Thstsa Pizza is right next door the best pizza in Traverse City.

There was a loud humming noise hard to describe loud happen to sound off throughout the day and night I asked the front desk they acted like they didn't know what it I was in room 116 I would avoid thst room it maybe close to mechanical room wasn't enough to ruin my stay just annoying.

The location is perfect for a short stay or a lakeside vacation. Close to the beach, mountain side trails, and amenities - Meijer, Gas station etc. Location is 14m to Downtown Traverse City - lots of fun spots, restaurants, shopping, catching the sunset over East Traverse Bay !!! The rooms are super clean. The front desk associate Alex was super helpful & lovely to chat with. When we mentioned an issue with the hot water she went out of her way to locate the maintenance man and send him over - only for us to find out we weren’t setting the temperature dial correctly 🤦🏻‍♀️ The guest Laundry was very clean. The hot breakfast offered a great selection of- sausage gravy & biscuits, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, a selection of breads - sliced, English muffins, Bagels, cereal, milk, cream cheese, yogurt, coffee, juices, fresh fruit. The attendant, Steve, kept the area super clean constantly cleaning tables, replenishing food. And welcoming the guests and checking on them. Can’t say enough about the hospitality. We will certainly be returning here !

The room chair had some cream colored streaks. I should’ve mentioned it to front desk. I’m sure they’ll take care of it.

-The elevator & pool room both reeked of cigarette smoke, like someone had recently been smoking in there. -There were no towels in the pool room but lots of trash (empty cups & food wrappers) -The breakfast area was super busy at 8am & there's not much seating.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, coffee available 247, comfortable rooms, beautiful views of the sunset over the water at the property, very reasonable price for a room particularly as we booked last minute during peak season. I appreciated the layout of the hotel, such that you didn’t have to walk a long way between your room and the main entrance/dining room

It felt far from town (but honestly only 15 minutes), a small price to pay for otherwise outstanding property

I must say I was not expecting such a wonderful experience! All that you hope to find in the big name hotels were found in the Sleep Inn. Every staff member were so genuinely kind, friendly and courteous. The property was neat and clean, the hot breakfast was delicious and offered a large selection of items and the room was extremely comfortable. We were there for 5 nights and totally enjoyed this gem of a hotel and can't wait to return!!

There was a slight odor coming from hot water. The staff indicated they had replaced an old water system and a remedy was soon on the way.

Our room was decent sized, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was amazing it had everything from eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, toast, bagels, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal and the list goes on. The pool was warmer than most hotels, hot tub wasnhuge. I loved the fact that it was open 24/7 to adults. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My mother was in the hospital and actually died while we were there. The fact that the staff was so friendly helped ease the pain we went through of losing our mother. Thank you for that.

It was actually perfect.

Clean room, comfortable beds, great location across from Little Traverse Bay! Adirondack chairs available to watch the stunning sunsets, such a beautiful location! Great hot breakfast: waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Super nice staff attending to breakfast needs including asking if she could get us anything else and clearing our plates, etc. So pleasant and appreciated! Indoor heated pool and spa hours were great; open 24 hrs for adults, until 11pm for kids. We really appreciated these hours and took advantage of this amenity. All of this at a great price per night (Sunday/Monday)!

Our bathroom was on the smaller side, and toilets were low profile. Making use difficult as a senior citizen :(

The room was spacious and clean. Nicely decorated and easy access. We stayed on the third floor so we were happy to see an elevator. The lobby and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to get to and conveniently located. Only about four miles to the airport. After dropping my friend off at the airport at 4:00 in the morning, I was able to get a few more hours sleep before the 11:00 check out time. We noticed that there was a coin operated laundry facility on the premises for guests, which was nice. Coffee available in lobby 24/7. I missed breakfast, but was too comfortable to get up.

Nothing to dislike about it.

Location was 5-6 miles from downtown & a relief from traffic & noise. Breakfast was excellent with wide selection & staff available to address needs. TV well placed & other amenities worked well.

No floor lighting or table lamps - just overhead (directly over head of bed & TV) fluorescent lights which I HATE. But most objectionable (imo) is the placement of bathroom sink outside of shower/toilet room and separated from bed by only a 3’ privacy wall. This allowed light & noise from bathroom to be disruptive and easily could have been avoided by extending the privacy wall another 3’.

Good location, great breakfast, very friendly staff

The phone in the room didn’t work, the bathrooms were a little dirty, there were a few tiles missing from the floor and there was an old bandana we found behind a chair that looked like it’d been there awhile. But the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was the best we’ve seen/had at a hotel. The hotel was also a good price for how close it was to everything.
