We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. It's fairly small, 44 rooms total, so it's easy to park and get to your room. We used the hot tub which was large, the right temperature, and in good working condition. The pool / hot tub area was really nice with a large, vaulted, wooden ceiling. The lighting is a little harsh and could be improved, as is the case with the blue / cold temp bulbs throughout the common areas; but that's a small issue and didn't by any means negatively impact our visit. Room was a nice size, clean, and warm (we were there in the winter). Our room was quiet, but we were at the end of the hall so not much happening around us. Room had DirecTV and a mid-sized flat screen TV - not a smart TV so no Netflix, etc. Breakfast was good with several choices. No bacon or sausage, but there were waffles and omelets. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an excellent experience and reasonably priced.

Not a big deal, but there was no fitness center.

This hotel had absolutely the best continental breakfast I've ever had. Belgian waffle maker, an omelet maker with all the necessary ingredients, custom made to order. The usual cold cereal (3 types), instant oatmeal, and a nice assortment of muffins, bagels, and english muffins, toast, hard boiled eggs, apple and orange juice. And very good coffee kept in air pots in the lobby 24/7. The stay was worth it simply for the breakfast. But the room was just as good, with a comfy bed and lots of pillows. Very clean. Fridge to stash some water and beverages in. Friendly staff. Easy to get to. Quiet. An iron and ironing board in the room along with a hairdryer in the bathroom were useful touches. Lots of towels in the bath (and not the cheap thin frizzy ones either). I wish I had brought my swimsuit as they have a very nice pool and hot tub which would have been nice to use. Stayed 2 nights, enjoyed both.

The only complaint would be the lighting, especially in the bathroom area. Not bright enough to apply makeup and the provided makeup mirror (a nice touch) was really mounted too high so wasn't very easy to use and the poor lighting made it even worse. I did notice that the complimentary bottle of shampoo was half empty, either an oversight of housekeeping or a cost saving means. I use my own shampoo and soap and seldom use the provided stuff so no biggie for me.

I enjoyed how quiet it was, the pool area is clean and the spa/hot tub is great! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast has good choices to start the day! The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and the room smelled clean - no odors! Kudos!

To me it’s a silly thing, but if I were to say anything it would be that the color scheme in the room (brown and lime green) is a little dated. But none of that deters me from giving excellent marks!

The location was excellent - very close to the Starkson Celebration of Life chapel (why we were in town). The room exceeded our expectations - had everything we needed and the shower water pressure was GREAT. (Had microwave, refrigerator, desk, comfortable bed, etc.).

We had difficulty with the room key cards -- had to go back to the desk and get them re-activated at the very beginning of the stay. Also we noticed when leaving that the door to our room wasn't re-locking. We notified the front desk of the issue.

The staff was very helpful and right on top of any needs that came up. Everything was kept very clean and stocked up. The breakfast was good and had enough options for everyone.

I would have liked for the hotel to provide a computer to print out a plane ticket for those of us that still do the paper option. I was told by the front desk staff that they would print it out if I emailed it to them which was disappointing since most hotels provide a computer for that. Also my reservation had to be corrected twice, once for the type of room booked and then the length of time booked but it was not a big deal.

Our room was quite, beds were acceptable, breakfast was great, staff was friendly & it's a great location. The only negative thing I could say is the pillows were not the greatest. We have stayed here a few times and have always had a good experience! We will stay again when in town visiting family.

Location was convenient and located near the biking/walking trail. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve, clean and good variety. Friendly staff.

Room at front hotel, was a little noisy with windows open, but expected being on a busy road. With the windows closed, you could barely hear a thing :) Unfortunately I had to close the windows and use the a/c due to another guest hanging out in the parking lot playing music from his car. A/c worked great but was very loud.

Room was huge with a table and chairs to eat in the room. The fridge has a separate freezer fir our cooler blocks and the bathroom and room were clean nicely arranged. I would recommend to others except for the breakfast.

My husband said eggs were inedible and corn beef hash so greasy it leaked thru the plate on to the table. The hash brown patty was impossible to cut with a knife and he left after one bite.

Nice location, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Very pleasant employee this morning. The room was clean. Breakfast was very nice and had plenty of choices.

We did have a broken rod, towel rack and door knob in bathroom. With the remodeling going on they will definitely need to fix those.

The staff is great! Personable and friendly. The breakfast was nice, it even had an egg maker! Even though I left early in the morning, I stayed because of the snow storm that was predicted, the sidewalk was being plowed and salted!
