The receptionist was very friendly at check-in. She showed us to our room that was recently remodeled. The beds were extremely comfortable. We liked that we were able to run the fan all night for white noise. For some people, it may have been too loud but we thought it was perfect. The hallways needs updating eventually. The breakfast had a lot more options (mainly carbs) than we are used to. Some options included cereal, granola bars, bagels, cinnamon raisin bread, trail mix, waffles with fixings, fresh fruit, fruit cups, cheese sticks, yogurt, prepackaged donuts, cream cheese, peanut butter, jelly, coffee, juice, ice water, and more. The hotel was very quiet at all hours on a Friday night in February.

Very decent price for a family of 4 to stay 3 nights. The staff was friendly and looked out for us with the tornado/high winds warning. Liked that breakfast was included in the price of stay. Each morning we had toast, bagels, waffles, toppings to choose from and plenty of hot coffee to drink. I was fine with the rooms being outdated as that reflected the good nightly rate. I will stay again if in the area. There is a small workout room and sauna.

I wish that there was eggs or cottage cheese for protein included with the breakfast. If that was an option, I never saw it at 8am in the morning.

The staff was very nice. Staff was also very on point when my key did not work, they had another key made up and was on his way to me before I could even realized my key was not going to work. The room was clean with no real issues. The bed was fairly comfortable.

There’s not a fan of the shower, but that was mainly my fault for getting a handicap room versus a regular room with the bathtub. But if they were to make that shower curtain a little bit larger and have the shower itself a little bit higher, it would be great. The breakfast was not bad. But it was missing some amenities such as the juice machine wasn’t working at the time, and they really didn’t have much else for drinks other than coffee and powdered creamer. But the waffles were good.

Easy to find, personalized Knick knacks at entrance, didn’t feel like a corporate chain. Workout room, very decent breakfast, hot shower, lots of towels.

Didn’t look like anyone had run a vacuum cleaner in the entrance or main stairways for a few days. That didn’t leave a good initial impression but the room itself was clean.

The room was perfectly adequate. Exactly what I needed at a very affordable price. Clearly they have done some work, and re-painted several walls.

The bed was uncomfortable; sort of leaned one direction. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, so I usually ate out at a coffee shop.

Lots of choices for breakfast - especially like the waffles. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. I didn't feel good couple nights and felt claustrophobic in the room so middle of night I went and walked around the lobby. The person behind desk came out and got me water and gave me a hug.

Empty garbage bins every day or so - I was there a week so when bin got full, sat outside the room. The AC was difficult to maintain as I had to keep switching buttons. One employee came in and reset.

The front desk gals were absolutely amazing!! We had our special needs daughter with us and those ladies were so wonderful to her. I wish they knew how much it meant to this mom. The one gal helped make her breakfast because dad was busy getting other things going and I was in the room. When we were walking down the hall to leave, that same lady ran up to our daughter and gave her the biggest hug and said how much she enjoyed her. The other lady that worked over night was just as great to her. I can't thank you guys enough! If we ever come back up there, we'll stay again!! Be safe everyone!

The housekeeping girl was pretty rude. When she met us in the hall there was no hi said to us even tho I said hi to her. She just looked at us and looked away like we had the plague. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Later I was standing at the front desk waiting for the lady to come back and the housekeeping girl was sitting at the table right there talking to her friend. She knew I needed something but didn't bother asking me. In all other places I've stayed at, workers no matter if they are front desk workers, housekeepers, maintenance, etc. if they see a customer just standing there not being helped, would ask if there was something they could do for them. But this girl just looked at me, ignored me and continued talking to her friend.... Not impressed!

It had a very homey feeling and I know the staff work hard to make us feel welcome. Had a good conversation with the sweet front desk staff and took a picture with their mascot bison. I've met a lot of people on the Minnesota historical society's history hunt this year but kiddo you're one of my favorite! You make the world a better place.

Your breakfast was very good your juice machine was out of order which was disappointing but everything else was good. The room would have been to small if a lot of people came down to eat. At our time we were the only ones that didn’t take breakfast back to the room

As for breakfast just the juice machine. Other would have been a little cleaner room but we would stay again very nice friendly

I liked the people who greeted me. So friendly. There were new renovations to some rooms and I was showen me some of those new renovations. Nice. I have stayed there several times before and I like what they're doing with the motel.

Very minimal continental breakfast. Yet, it too has improved.
