The HI in Tupelo is in an excellent, safe, and convenient location. The hotel itself is clean and very comfortable. The rooms were immaculate and the bathrooms pristine. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The check in process was seamless. Beds were very comfortable, and the modern decor of the room was great. Ice machines and vending very accessible on each floor. Extensive breakfast selections which were delicious and plenty. Excellent dinner restaurant within walking distance and others a very short drive.

Our experience was perfect except witnessing the breakfast attendant berate a fellow guest because he said she didn't close the lid on the tray of biscuits. It was highly inappropriate and unprofessional to shame another adult the way he did. The guest ended up in tears and apologized to me in the dining area stating she thought I was getting food next since I was right behind her, and she didn't want to close it on me. I had to assure her she did nothing wrong and that no one should be treated that way especially a paying customer.

Sparking clean and very comfy bed. We absolutely loved meeting Daniel at the front desk. He was extremely nice and very welcoming. We can always be 100% safe and comfortable at Holiday Inn express.

If I have to say anything that's negative it would only be the shower stream was weak but wouldn't stop me from staying there again.

This is a perfect location for us as we travel south. Right off the main road and near places to eat and shop. The breakfast was exceptional for a hotel and the staff were very friendly. We have stayed here on our trips in the past and will certainly stay here in the future.

The location was not on the main street, but on a cul-de-sac. Therefore, the traffic was not a problem. The beds were great! The best part was the breakfast and the morning staff member taking care of the guests needs! He is a great asset to the company!

The pillows were too soft. I asked for a second pillow, but it was still not enough. I have a back issue, so I did not rest as well on soft pillows.

The staff was lovely, the rooms were exceptional.

You can hear every food step of the people above us, beside us and in the hall.

clean / very friendly staff / this hotel is a winner! The young gentleman in the breakfast area was extremely cordial and competent.

The shower is without ANY support bars, which is extremely dangerous for all, and essentially senior citizens like us. DirectTV is a real pain / unfriendly remote for channel decisions and selection. $124 + tax is hard for us. We will continue to search for other options.

Complimentary breakfast was great! Robert at breakfast was friendly, helpful and an excellent host overall. The hotel location was perfect- near every thing, but not sitting directly on the main busy road, so it was quiet. The room was fine, exactly as pictured. The shower wasn’t as clean as the rest of the room though.

The shower had red mold growing in corners. Everything else seemed clean.

The room was very clean. The heat/ac was not loud. LOVE hotels with rooms within the building. Robert was excellent at breakfast. He was very friendly. He was spot on for cleanliness and keeping the area superb. Breakfast was hot and fulfilling. Walking distance to Texas roadhouse and Outback steakhouse. The hotel parking lot was clean. Would recommend it and will return for another stay!!
