The desk personnel were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The room had a mini-refrigerator and microwave oven, which I did not expect. The sink and faucet appeared to be fairly new. I arrived on a warm day, and it was nice to find that the A/C in the room was already running and the room was cool. All of the lights appeared to be fairly new LED fixtures. The room had a combination dresser/desk under the TV and a sturdy table in one corner near the fridge and microwave. The TV worked well. The room was stocked with a hand towel, a wash cloth, 2 bath towels, a bath mat, 2 bars of soap, and 2 nearly-full rolls of toilet paper. There are several restaurants close by (I went to Village Inn and Taco Bell) and a Casey's gas station & convenience store. Easy access to Interstates 80 & 680, US 275.

I had a little trouble finding the motel the first night because I arrived very late. Their sign was not lit up and is up so high that my car headlights did not hit it. Even though the room lights were very nice white LED type, I found myself wishing that the ones in the main part of the room were a little bit brighter. (The ones in the toilet/shower and sink areas were excellent.) The shower head was either a low flow design or possibly partly plugged as it didn't seem to deliver quite as much water as I would have liked.

Dirty, stinky, and uncomfortable. Immediately upon arrival there was an overwhelming smell of marijuana. Also old sewage. I have smelled marijuana at just about every motel or hotel I’ve stayed up, but never strong enough to actually make me sick. This was so strong there were clearly multiple people in the building doing it. When we got to our room I was greeted with yellow and brown gunk everywhere on the walls. There was feces crusted on the toilet seat that clearly was not ours seeing we hadn’t used the restroom in our room yet. There was a brown streak down the wall right beside the toilet as well, and I can guess what that was. The TV remote was glued to the TV stand by some sticky substance, assuming it was syrup. We did not see a single housekeeper our entire 3 day stay. I saw a man vacuuming the lobby this morning when we left who frowned at me and said nothing. He is clearly on drugs, it’s obvious by his appearance. Nobody cleaned or offered to clean our room the entire stay. I was scared to walk around without shoes or even touch the walls. I can confidently say I have never stayed somewhere so dirty and smelly. I have paid less for way nicer places. Ridiculous.

There were roaches crawling on the curtains, mold all over the exterior shower curtain, there was rust all over the door facings/jams, the smell of marijuana was pungent, the carpets were disgustingly filthy and sticky, the electric outlet in the bathroom was shorting out and only worked sometimes. The staff were disrespectful and rude, the language barrier was horrendous and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!

Unable to take a bath no tub stopper. Tub disgusting as well rust stained. Internet went in and out. I left after about two hours. They didn't offer a refund and the front desk guy barely spoke English.
