Review: Disappointed with Customer Service I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received during my recent stay, particularly from Donna at the front desk on my first night. I simply asked if there was any water available since the vending machine was out of order, and her response was not only unhelpful but also rude. She abruptly told me there was no water available and made no effort to assist further. The way she spoke to me came off as dismissive and disrespectful. As a paying guest, I expected at least a courteous and professional response, even if the answer was no. It’s unfortunate that such poor customer service overshadowed the start of my stay

The staff was very nice, especially the young man at the front desk during the day. The beds were comfortable. We liked having a thermostat to set the temperature where we like it.

The halls in the hotel look fine. Our room, however, was in need of repairs. There was a hole in the wall that had paper towels stuffed in it. There was a large crack in the shower. The vent in the bathroom made a clunking noise the whole time. We also found long black hairs in the bathroom. We both have short white hair, so it wasn't ours. The breakfast was fair. It was saved by having Raisin Bran and milk.

We were in the area to attend a wedding. We were unsure of what to expect here having spent a night at a crummy, run down hotel in Emporia, VA. Unless booking an expensive high end hotel, it has become increasingly difficult to trust the sparkly online photos for mid range facilities. Reviews are subjective and you almost have to throw caution to the wind when booking. Upon arrival at the Beaumont we were pleasantly surprised upon entering. The clerk was friendly and helpful, the lobby area, ground floor hallways/carpeting and our room were updated, clean and comfortable.

We didn't have their breakfast but others have complained of it running out before posted times and lack of healthy choices. We chose to go to the diner a short drive away.

I had an issue with my reservation, but the staff helped me immediately. The service was outstanding — fast check-in and check-out, everything was clean and well organized. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was excellent. I would definitely stay here again!

The comfort of the room and hotel staff was great

Everything was great, including the breakfast, but I think a little more variety would be nice...like fresh fruit, another cereal option, maybe oatmeal? How about bacon. It was fine. It just needed an extra wow factor.

Room was clean and spacious, Bathroom was clean, Very friendly staff. Breakfast also met our expectation, variety of selection. We stayed for one night and we had no issue at all,, very happy

Wish they had provided small toiletries like travel size toothpaste. An water fountain in each floor would have been convenient. Bathroom did have body wash/shampoo and such

Very clean and comfortable, good breakfast and availability, pleasantly surprised by exercise room, very safe parking lot and going in and out of the building

More selection on breakfast buffet and coffee available during the day but it is not necessary. I would still return if you didn’t make these changes

Large room, comfortable bed, very clean and well maintained. We travel to this area several times a year, this will be our new go-to hotel.

While we had the handicap bathroom we requested and the tub was well equipped with grab bars and accessible shower controls, it was too high for me to be able to get into. My wife did love the large tub for soaking baths, but it was unusable for me . In spite of this issue, I still rate this hotel very high and very much enjoyed our stay

The staff member on reception was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money, very comfortable beds, nice TV and the breakfast was good. The location is perfect for access to the lake, the town and the interstate. The hotel seemed spotlessly clean.

Everything went well. When I needed to extend my stay by one day, the staff went above and beyond whatI asked of them. I will be staying there again very soon.

Parking lot entrance was too narrow.
