My husband, daughter and I all stayed at The Lily Inn for one night, and our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. Everything was absolutely perfect during our stay. We had everything we needed in our room and were able to check in with the instructions that were texted to us. It was SO easy! Then we woke up in the morning to a delicious breakfast that was made just for us. We were able to enjoy the dining area and the atmosphere of the backyard and garden area while we sipped our coffee and let our daughter play. Afterwards, we stepped outside and walked along the river and enjoyed looking through some of the shops near by. I couldn’t recommend The Lily Inn more, we will definitely be back! Attractively decorated, comfortable, historic inn. First floor Sitting Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, all very impressive. Twenty-four hour Kuerig coffee and snacks are available in the kitchen.

Even though the bathroom in the Bird Room was nicely updated, there were white splatters on the wall by the sink, and the baseboards were quite dirty. From the website, the impression was that on the weekends there would be various freshly prepared choices for breakfast, however what was served were pre-prepared cold eggs and bacon. There was a pot of coffee, bagels, cream cheese, white toast etc.

The quaint B&B is absolutely worth seeing. It is very lovingly and meticulously furnished and the hostess is absolutely great! We didn't lack for anything and we really enjoyed our short stay (we were just passing through). Drinks and small snacks are available, which was very useful for a late check-in. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward and therefore very pleasant. The breakfast was very good, freshly prepared. You sit at a large communal table, which invites you to communicate with other guests if you want. We met two super nice, friendly women at the table who shared very useful travel tips with us.

The only minor criticism would be that the mattress in our bed was a bit too soft. But not too bad.

Very authentic and unique place. It felt like traveling back in time. Considering the age of the property, it's in surprisingly good condition and made to feel welcoming. The on-site staff were awesome.

There was some confusion over breakfast on one of the days. We were told to let them know if we're not going to eat but turns out that they wanted us to opt-in specifically one morning. The communication could have been better.

The place is beautiful, historically decorated . Our bedroom was on the third floor, quite a hike up old stairway. The third floor was a bit too cold , actually too cold at night . Thought is weird since it was the top floor. The bed was pretty comfy though. No shower in room , just a jacuzzi tub with a spray handle . Breakfast was good. Close to friends who live in Bristol Pa.

A little too cold , did not know how to regulate the temp.

I loved how charming and historic the home was. There were old books and pictures everywhere. The room was pretty clean and the shower was huge! Very hot water too, always a plus. I also liked that our room had its own thermostat so we could make the room the perfect temperature. And our breakfast was amazing! Such a lovely spread.

The beds weren’t very comfy and the bathroom could’ve used a little updating (no way to vent the steam from the shower).

Practical location in Burlington. Easy to access. The check-in is made easy with self check-in. Property was very nice, charming, authentic with a nice garden. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good to have breakfast with the other guests. Good breakfast.

Everything was good. The only improvement opportunity would be to have breakfast a little earlier or start at 08:00 am as mentioned so that one can plan the day accordingly.

Our room was lovely and well furnished. The bed was plush and had plenty of pillows. There were extra blankets stored in the closet. I generally love more blankets, but didn’t need them as the bed was already quite comfortable. While my husband was disappointed that there was not a shower, the very large garden tub was wonderful for me. It is large enough for a married couple to enjoy. Bath robes were even provided. The residence overall was nice, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen has snacks, similar to what you would find at a nice spa. Water, nuts, fruit, hot drinks and even cake was available. The courtyard was nice and had plenty of seating both on a patio and in the yard. If not for the mosquitoes, which can’t be controlled, I would have sat there longer. I loved the gentle music that played in the morning in the downstairs. Very lovely atmosphere. The home is historical, with much brick and wood, and you will, perhaps, enjoy the quirkiness of settled (slightly slanted) doorways and floors 😊 If in the area again, I would certainly stay at the Lily Inn.

Breakfast was not as wonderful as I expected it to be. There were not as many offerings as expected. There was oatmeal with a variety of add ins, eggs, turkey bacon, sliced strawberries, several juices and hot drinks. It would have been nice to have biscuits/toast, pancakes or French toast to make a more substantial meal. On the upside, we were contacted before arrival regarding dietary restrictions. We have none, but as a mom of children with allergies, the thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the Lily Inn for our wedding weekend. Candace was lovely, she made us feel at ease during a very stressful—though exciting—moment in our lives! It was nice to have some space from family and friends staying at a hotel and to have the beautiful Burlington riverfront to walk along in the morning.

We booked a room with a jet tub (great!) but no shower at all, a shower would probably have been more convenient for us. It was a bit of an oversight on my part.

Wonderful house, super beautiful and special. The room was big and included a sofa and table. Everything perfectly clean. The breakfast was very tasty and had many options. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom even had bathrobes. Restaurants in walking distance. We would have loved to stay longer!

We found the room to be quite cold and were not able to change the temperature (central AC for the whole floor it seems). Luckily it became a bit warmer over night.
