Price is an affordable one, considering it's nearby NYC area. It is a plus there's a shuttle and it's basically in the " financial district " of that area in Jersey. Close to the train station to get into NYC. Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, they will always answer the phone in case you need it, we called them twice from the air train to know better where to ride their shuttle, they were always kind and happy to help, we've stayed in 5 stars hotels before in EWR were receptionist are extremely rude, this was not the case, so thank you for being so kind and understanding to us ( we were coming from a transatlantic flight extremely tired) . Shuttle arrives at number 1 from the air train, once again, staff hotel is extremely kind and helpful, they will always answer the phone eventhough is midnight.

Be careful that when you are riding the shuttle you let the driver know which of the TRYP hotel you are going as apparently there are 2 with the same name ( brother hotel) the one we stayed in had the restaurant, if you are dropped off in the one isnt yours, staff will kindly let you know and there's not of a big deal as you can easily walk to the other one which is around the corner. Shuttle can take a little longer to arrive, which i guess it is normal as both hotels are ones of the most affordable ones!

It was very modern. Beautiful colors and fixtures. The rooms are cozy. A stay at [Hotel Name] is truly wonderful, and the impeccable cleanliness is a standout feature throughout the visit. If i am a paying guest at the hotel, i should not have to pay for parking. I paid $20 per day so if i had stayed for a week i would have had to pay $100. I only spent two day so i paid an extra $20. I think that is highly rediculous.

Small and private. Very quiet but close to everything. Walking distance to Newark Penn station (but they do have a free shuttle) and a Whole Foods among other fast food choices. Plenty of Instacart delivery options as well. Restaurant and Bar on location with select menu. Great water pressure, awesome lighting and great security. Safe in closet, Keurig for coffee and tea. Beds are firm and comfortable. Staff speaks Spanish and English

The whole building is one air filtering system it seems. So someone was smoking weed above us and it came into our room from the air vent. Wouldn’t care except I didn’t want to get charged for smoking in the room. Also, would be more convenient if they had mini fridges, they would fit under the countertops. It would be easier to store food from Whole Foods and such for meals. I did hear that the King rooms have a fridge but that wasn’t verified.

We liked the location—downtown, but tucked away. Nice park across the street, & the ease of getting on the highway was great. Would stay again.

Location and parking great. Very clean. Room was very sterile, like a hospital room, not cozy. Everything was stark white and when combined with the very bright overhead lighting, it was not relaxing. There also was no chair and just a pull out stool under the desk where the coffee maker was located. The bed itself was very comfortable, except for the blankets, not enough and cold. There were multiple small lamps and it was hard to figure out which switches turned what lights on and off. Rooms and bedding need to be cozier, when you get to a hotel room, you need to be able to relax and sit somewhere other than on the bed sometimes.

Great location, close to the Newark Penn Station, therefore you could easily get PATH or NJ trains or even catch an Amtrack for the Northeast Corridor. A quiet place to live, great WIFI connectivity, friendly staff during check in and out. A shuttle is provided in case you have lot's of luggage. Good price/quality ratio. The room was very nice and super comfortable, probably renewed recently. European-style shower in the bathroom (detachable).

There are not that much places that work around the clock, therefore it could be sometimes hard to find a place to buy food or an opened caffe in the are after 7 PM, but you could buy something in advance anywhere in the city.

Proximity to EWR & Newark Penn Station, comfort of the 2 Queen beds room, clean, spacious room with 2 comfortable Queen beds, comfortable/convenient bathroom, proximity to eating establishments, complimentary airport and Penn Station shuttle, courteous, professional and helpful front desk and shuttle staff.

Nothing at all, this time. We have stayed at this hotel at least 6 times during the past several years (always reserving a 2 Queen beds room), but on one occasion they did not have that room and "upgraded" us to a Family Room, however it had only one bed, with extremely uncomfortable alternative "beds" - like a pull down from the wall bed - that had wooden slats and a too-rhin mattress - I was so uncomfortable that I barely slept that night. HOWEVER, we had previously been SO pleased with every aspect of our prior stays, with a 2 Queen beds room, that we decided to give it another try. Thus far, two additional stays led to us getting the 2 Queen beds room we had reserved.

The room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. Hotel has a great location for those who don't want to pay so much to stay in NJ/NY area. Very close to Newark Penn Station and the hotel offers a shuttle. The hotel's restaurant offers buffet breakfast for $18 and dinner a la carte. We didn't get a change to try lunch.

The day we were leaving to the airport they couldn't find a shuttle driver. The driver was MIA and we had to wait for a long time for another guy who to show up. Once we got on the road everything was fine but we could have missed our flight due to the fact that there was no shuttle at the time we expected it.

We wanted a place near Newark airport and NY for a few days for a fair price. And we had it. The transfer worked for us twice and was very fast. The train station is fairly close and it was safer than expected. PATH works well for WTC and SEC to MSG. Price / size of the room was much better than what you can find in Manhattan. It was a good choice.

It is a 3* star hotel. Naturally, some things are not as a 5* hotel, such as noise, some smell and other quality details. But it was ok. There are not many options around to eat, so uber eats is your best option.
