Our room was comfortable and very quiet. Adjustable air conditioner. Close to the ice machine/filtered water. Bathroom was fine. Maids did good job cleaning and restocking. Enjoyed the new bell tower lounge. Beautiful artwork everywhere. The restaurant is beautiful and the eggplant dish is to die for!

The rooms are quite small and the bathroom could use some towel racks. The interesting leather chair is very low to sit on. I didn't care for the Nespresso coffee. Maybe some flavor options would be good. Maybe some drawers - there were only cubbies. The bar wasn't as cool as I had hoped. It's part of the lobby. Should have a door man - the doors to the hotel are a bit heavy for older people.

Location at the main plaza perfect. Lobby and common areas attractive. Valet parking convenient. The room comfortable with good lighting and good TV. Historic building. Artwork in lobby. Restaurant in beautiful courtyard.

The gym too small and lacked machines for weight training. Lobby can be overcrowded, too busy. Too many stores located inside hotel. Atmosphere too commercial. Restaurant overcharges; for example two dollars just for a little hot sauce. Parking 30 Dollars per day. No free patking

We especially enjoyed the lobby and spent some free time there. The staff was quite friendly and seemed to remember us when we stopped at the front desk. Set a great location right on the plaza.

We enjoy coming to Santa Fe around the holidays. But we're somewhat disappointed in the amount of farilitos on the building. The neighboring hotel does a much better job. Our bathtub would not hold water, but that was repaired when we let them know. It took over twenty four hours for a hand mirror to be delivered to our room.

Santa Fe most iconic and authentic hotel.. from lobby to dining to original art everywhere .. this property is a must visit.. We had a small room with an annoying step up into the bathroom.. and a very wide bathtub deck that was difficult to step over .. this is a historic hotel I get it.. just be aware if you have any mobility issues.. we paid more for our dinner than for the room..before room taxes .. great service at la plazuela.. only night of the week that had no in house music.. but ok. They have remodeled the bar area to make dancing almost impossible .. but that is another story

Refrigerator in room groaned mobbed and whined… there really should be an off switch or use compreserless fridges.. they work Step in and out of tub crazy dangerous.. a needed grab bar or descrete handle or something ?

Very well-located hotel in downtown Santa Fe near the square and cathedral. Easy to walk around everywhere. This hotel has lots of old world charm and I liked the "buzz" when you walked into the lobby from the bar, restaurant and shops. The rooftop bar also had great views. Rooms were updated but still retained their original character.

The parking garage is shared with the public so you have to park there and then take all of your luggage into the lobby, which was a bit of a hike. There are also lots of stairs and different levels throughout that could be a problem for older people or people with mobility issues.

La Fonda is a beautiful building Rich in history and I loved all the details of authentic art and solid architecture. Absolutely beautiful rooms . This hotel exceeded my expectations and I will definitely want to return in the future. Location couldn't be any better either .Right at the Plaza . Just gorgeous lobby, bar and La Plazuela restaurant . Highly recommend staying here .

I didn't like that parking was $30, whether or not you self parked or had a valet do it .$30 a night ! That should have at least been disclosed by the hotel and booking.com or factored into room rate . Just would have liked to know prior of the cost! Either way, I was disappointed by that.

Beautiful 100-year old period hotel redolent of New Mexico's pre-colonial, French and Spanish architectural and cultural influences. Superb restaurant in Hispanic style with fountain playing in the centre; food of a very high standard. Many elegant shops are to be found within the hotel's precincts. Large bedroom with double bed and a view of the city Plaza.

The location and the service! Right on the Plaza! We were there for New Years Eve Celebration and it was all at our door step! The personal concierge was awesome and took care of all our needs! Caleb at the valet desk even went and picked up diapers for us one night! The bed linens were to die for!!!

The rooms were very small , but my daughter’s room which was a supper king had room for a baby bed.

the room was lovely, the location unbeatable, and the people magnificent. The restaurant inside the hotel is utterly gorgeous! My only regret is that I didn't find out about the books featuring the history of the hotel until I was getting ready to leave, so I didn't get a chance to pick one up!

Ihave no complaints about this hotel at all. The water got hot quickly, making shorter showers possible, the people were all absolutely lovely, the artwork stunning, the location perfect. . .truly just a wonderful place!

Breakfast was good as was dinner. It’s a unique hotel with art work in each room. Location couldn’t be better.

I had an unpleasant interaction with a concierge who I thought was also condescending and when she was wrong in her accusation of what she thought I was doing never apologized even though I walked past her several times. She kind of ruined our last morning
