Our room (one of the detached Casita rooms) was smaller & more spare than expected- though very clean. We slept well in the nice comfy bed, enjoyed the well outfitted full bath, and appreciated the table with coffee setup, and extra privacy of mini-courtyard with blossomy tree. There was however no comfy seating inside the room, or in our courtyard. The main house was inviting with artful Santa Fe style decoration, kiva fireplaces, garden courtyard (chair cushions needed!) , and dining room. Most especially the freshly prepared breakfasts were a delight. There is a cushioned banquette nook, just off the dining room that was comfy enough to relax a while, where I enjoyed journaling, and paging through the art books on hand after breakfast. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, just off the beaten path but with many places of interest (head for the Plaza) within easy walking distance. We enjoyed Santa Fe Breakroom/Taproom just across the parking lot to the south of The Parador for a local wine and brew. (it is also, popularly, host to the Bang Bite food truck on that southside of the parking lot, for decadent burgers and sides.)

The lack of comfortable patio chairs (and little table) in our mini courtyard. The picture hook with no picture on it (our hostess quickly provided a framed art piece when asked). No fires lit after our first evening/morning in main house. Lack of garden courtyard chair cushions.

Beautiful converted farmhouse with lots of character very short walk to the historic plaza and all the shops and restaurants. We had the huge family room with a REALLY comfy king bed with wonderful bedding (massive king pillows). On booking.com it says king plus 2 twin but it was actually a day bed with a trundle bed. We had to take the mattresses off the day bed frame and put it on the floor as it was too short and a little flimsy for my teen. This wasn’t a problem for us as the mattresses were thick and bedding very comfortable. We informed the staff and they were ok with it too. One of the reasons I booked was the comments about breakfast… it really didn’t disappoint! Absolutely delicious cooked fresh once you ordered… a delightful, healthy start to the day! The 3 staff we met were courteous and very welcoming! Thank you

Nothing - really lovely

Feels like a private house with amenities. I enjoyed my home-like room and the automated key system. Breakfast was made to order and unique. There was coffee, tea and a mini fridge available in the room. There was a tiny balcony for fresh air. The bathroom amenities had a great lavender smell. Parking is available in the backyard. The front desk had a cute store with local products and a very friendly host.

FYI: there is a small rocks pathway from the parking area to the building, which is hard to manage with luggage. There are some steps leading up to some of the rooms. It's not an issue for me, just bear in mind.

The breakfast was cooked each day by a chef and was very good. There was no decaf coffee so I drank tea instead. The tea they served was gourmet and very good. The chef made his own chai tea which my wife loved. The facility was quiet. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent in order to walk everywhere in downtown Santa Fe. Parking is included and plentiful when we stayed there during the weekdays. The facility is clean. They have 2 gas fireplaces. The room we chose had a balcony with chairs and a small table which we used. Our bed was comfortable.

Our shower handle didn't work correctly. The lady at the front desk made every attempt to get it fixed, which included calling a plumber who was unable to get the part needed for several days. She offered an upgraded room but we declined as we liked the room we originally picked. We appreciated the offer, though. They didn't have to do that! The exterior wood trim on the facility is in need of repair, which, I am sure, the owner is aware of.

Great location, close to plaza and restaurants. Really within walking distance of both. The room was nice and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The highlight was the breakfast. I don’t know how you can take greek yogurt and make it into a 5 star dish but it was done. The pancakes with berry syrup also. I would stay there again just for the breakfast. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The price you pay for a night’s stay is a great value for the amenities and breakfast you get.

Parking was very limited and a little tricky. There was only one space left when we returned from our night out.

The breakfast and all staff at the Parador were great. Location was very good, easy to walk to the Plaza, (and O'Hori's coffee is around the corner!) and parking was easy. A shout out to the breakfast staff, as they really did an outstanding job. We also liked the kettle/coffee set up in the room

The room itself got extremely hot during the day (we were on the second floor). So much so that we had to leave the door to the balcony and the bathroom window open all night in order to cool the room enough to sleep. If I stayed in the future, I'd ask for a first floor room

We had a great casita, separate from the main farm house. The location is superb with easy access to the Railyard and downtown Plaza, with a coffee shop, bakery, food hall and other establishments right around the corner. Breakfast was tasty with high quality ingredients.

We were told breakfast was at 8, which was a bit later than we are used to, and we had a long drive ahead of us. When we got there, I expected it to be a buffet, but it was a made to order, from 2 or 3 choices, and we had to wait another 30 to 40 minutes to get our food. It was very tasty, though portions a bit small. We had to eat fast to get on the road.

When you combine friendly staff, centralized location (easy walking), and quality rooms, it is the Parador. I also really enjoyed the morning breakfast meals and the care put into the friendly experience of it. Shout out to Danny!

This isn't a knock on the Parador, but rather on Santa Fe in general. Please ensure that you park in the Parador's parking lot and NOT in the large free lot next door. Some people's cars were broken into during the night in the large free lot. I was unaffected, fortunately because I parked in the safe Parador parking lot, which also happens to be free.

We were delighted with the location, easily walkable to downtown, railway area, Canyon Road, capitol buildings, etc. We never had to get back in the car. The vegan Chai was a real treat and the breakfast was quite original and tasty. I wish there had been a vegan option every day. We both enjoyed the selection of books. The large tub was amazing and it was nice to have two lounge chairs in the room. Great bed also.

The timing of getting the room tidied between 3 and 4 didn't work for us as we usually like to rest then. So, we missed out. Also, the bidet in room 15 is not working. Still, it didn't disappoint us because we weren't expecting either of these things. One rainy afternoon we sat in the Great room next to the fireplace on the poofs and wished there were proper, comfortable chairs. That would have been a delight.

It was such a unique property! It was like staying in a guest house. Our rooms and bathrooms are absolutely huge and we loved the community area with the fireplace. Fabulous bath products and the room had a coffee teapot, and a refrigerator which was handy. We felt safe and there was offstreet parking. Breakfast was particularly scrumptious .

It was a good 10 to 15 minute walk from the plaza or Canyon Road and it was situated off of a busy road and behind a brewery so there was street noise and music. It was necessary to have a coffee pot in our room but if you need creamer, make sure and arrange for that and also teas need to be picked up at breakfast. Because there is no food or coffee before 8 AM. And, as we are East coaster we were all up at 5 AM . None of the local coffee shops were open before eight or even nine so it was Starbucks or make coffee in your room but again if you plan ahead and have what you need to make the coffee for creamers, that’s not a problem. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and having our coffee and tea. We just did not arrange for the creamers or the tea ahead of time.
