Came back due to great, professional, friendly staff and all the amenities to include a real arm freshly cooked breakfast. Facility also has a computer and printer which comes in handy while traveling. Close to shops, transportation, and major highways. Its unique location is a plus as you can be in NYC in less than an hour right across the Cuomo Bridge.

No Laundry

The room was well kept and clean. The bath was also well kept and clean. We were able to park right outside the door so we could see our vehicle. Restaurants were in walking distance of only a few blocks. Had a buffet breakfast in the restaurant attached to the hotel that was included in our stay.

I was in a busy area and hard to find at first. Had a restaurant but was only open in the morning for breakfast so we had to find another off site.

The hotel is excellently located near I-87 and with excellent parking. Everyone working at the hotel was nice and the room was clean. As other reviews mention, the room (its furnishings, rug, wallpaper) are tired and likely need replacing... especially as there is some staining. However, it was very clean and safe and I would return without concern should I again need lodging in the area.

The room was not as dated as it was tired, with visible staining in some areas and simple obvious signs of all-too-deferred maintenance. It was very clean, quiet, and safe however.

Location

I thought the restaurant and lounge were open daily/nightly which is one reason I picked it, but only open for breakfast. I did not go to breakfast so I don’t know what it was. One night a party in the parking lot, about 5 am. The next night a couple fighting about 2am. I realize the hotel can’t do anything about that, just saying.

Everything, from the professional , the overall experience inside condition to the facilities, lobby, dinning room, computer area and rooms.

The AC could be a little cooler but no big deal. Being able to take “AFFIRM” payment could have made things easier on extended payments for a longer stay.

The free breakfast was much better than I would normally find at an inexpensive motel. Large sit-down restaurant area, almost like an old diner, rather than just a few chairs in a lobby like other places. The rooms, even though they were the typical compact street-entrance motel room, were surprisingly clean and well maintained. The bed did NOT feel lumpy as I feared it would, having stayed at many hotels. My 8.0 rating reflects the category this motel is in -- relative to others of the same kind of property.

Some prior customers smoked in our room. But of course that's not the hotel's fault. Some people think the decor is outdated, and it is, but who cares really.

Breakfast was excellent and a good value, staff was very friendly and responsive, bed was large and very comfortable

It was chilly the weekend I visited and in room heating system not ready for season. Staff did respond promptly with a plug in heater which did work well but had to move it closer to bed without an outlet nearby and created a slight tripping hazard

The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. I liked that there were a lot af pillows and the breakfast was delicious. Also the desk staff was very helpful my TV was not working and they lady came to my room and fixed it for me. Also the man who checked me out in the morning was super friendly and nice.

Comfortable bed mattress (Important because I have a back injury with spinal disk hernia) Heater was powerful and efficient Shower pressure and temperature was good. Bathtub was clean

Breakfast sausages tasted funny so I stopped eating them.

Staff, bathroom tile, landscaping, eggs, French toast, pancakes, plain cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, blackout curtains, great entertainment in lounge ( Spanish Harlem Orchestra)

Breakfast sausage cold and not browned enough, with AC on not a thick enough comforter, went to show in lounge Saturday night paid $45.00 ( didn’t mind paying but is there a discount if you stay in hotel?), I did not know about lounge event from staff I just read the sign outside— Spanish Harlem Orchestra
