It was a perfect getaway from the city. Me and my husband were looking for some quality time off, but we weren't in the vibe to be too isolated this time. It was perfect to rest, explore, and go out for food, drinks and games. One of our favorite spots to grab a beer and play some pool (at Station Bar & Curio) was a short walk distance. Adam was an amazing host, available at all times, super helpful, and even offered us to extend our checkout time since no one was checking in that day. An inspirational place, every detail, the commune shop, their whole system, everything self-service. We were in awe! Would definitely go back!

Adam, the host & property owner, thought of every possible need in a suite and provided for it. The Herwood Inn is immaculately clean, tidy, well located and welcoming. We had a marvelous 4 day (3 night) stay. I highly recommend the Herwood Inn!

Nothing comes to mind

It was perfectly located in Woodstock. It was very comfortable for parents and an adult child to stay and enjoy the surroundings, walking distance to the Main Street and restaurants.

The proximity to the road may be bothersome for light sleepers as you can hear the car traffic from the main bedroom (though, this did not impact us)

So charming! Delightful decor and plenty of room. We had our dog and it was super easy for all of us to be comfortable

Nothing really! It’s on Tinker Street, the main road of Woodstock so there were some traffic noises but it was fine. It was a bit of a walk to the businesses but not unpleasant.

Lovely property. Beautiful guest house space with tons of thoughtful touches. The kind of place where you think “it would be nice if…” only to discover it behind you a moment later! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire area as well as the games in the room.

The only reason I wouldn’t give it a perfect ten is that the service and set up was a bit strange. It’s more of an AirBNB than an inn or guest house. It’s self check in and you have to call a number if you want help with something. That being said they were very responsive, it just wasn’t totally what we were expecting, and a human touch would’ve taken this place to the next level.

The bed was super comfortable, and the shower and bathroom were clean and newly remodeled. It was in a great part of town. I could walk to all of the stores and restaurants. I would stay again the next time I'm in the area.

Very cute overall! with new appliances, very attentive details in the interior design. the place is easy to find, and a small backyard that is wonderful for our dog.

it is not the most spacious but enough and cozy for a couple like us.

a great boutique experience. Only a 10-min walk to the center of town. didn’t feel crowded at all - we barely saw any other customers while we were there. we sat outside and read or used the hot tub at our leisure. The room had so many cute extras- a record player and some vintage albums; lots of books and games; and lots of eco-friendly and/or local products. We could always reach the owner (manager?) via the chat on the in-room iPad, which also had info about the facilities and the area. And when chatting, the owner would make a rec about where to eat, unsolicited. Also loved the Commune “shop” on the property, where you could pick up and pay for a snack or some deodorant or CBD 24/7. A lot of attention to the fun details!

Our suite, the Franklin Flat, was really cute, but the outer room was pretty tight when the sofa bed was open. It was still fully functional- kitchenette was usable and you could sit at the counter to eat, but If we had been there more than two nights it might have gotten a little hard for our family of 4 to be civil. The rest of the space (bedroom, bathroom, closet) was otherwise more than ample. The only other drawback was that the only ceiling A/C unit was in the bedroom and didn’t reach the outer room as well, so we had to keep it pretty cold in the bedroom in order for our kids to be comfortable in the other room. But we just threw on another blanket!

Everything was completely perfect! From the clear, thorough directions for self check-in, to each amenity in the room, to the location, the cleanliness, the comfort. We cannot wait to return here for a longer stay!

Nothing at all— No notes! 10/10!

Working with Dam and Carmen is amazing! They ensured we had the most wonderful stay!! So accommodating, and the Inn is truly perfection! We had the absolute best time! The rooms are spacious and have everything you need! Literally, they thought of everything and then more! Dinner recommendations were superb! Walking distance into town! The fact that it's so luxurious and dog friendly makes this even more special. The hot tub in the fun courtyard was so relaxing!
