The accessibility of our room. Easy to load/unload car,hit elevator to room. Loved room was in corner. Quiet on 4th floor. Coffee was kept fresh and area clean. Love the rooms smell fresh without excessive air freshener stink. All white bedding and linens that smell of bleach is refreshing knowing that they have been sanitize . There were some people drinking in area behind hotel.

The soap in shower wasn't usable since cap was left on the refill. Breakfast was lacking compared to other Tru hotels. Oatmeal was just thrown in pot with water like instant. It should be cooked before dumping in pot. Just because you use microwave food doesn't mean it has to look unappealing. A little more effort in preparing it would taste and look better. Please section off the pool table so people can walk through the lobby. It always filled with 10-20 people and hard to get through to elevator or rooms on that floor.

My daughter and I stayed just one night while in the area for a college visit. The lobby was warm and inviting, with cute decor and lots of comfortable seating, hot coffee and water for tea or hot chocolate. There was a huge assortment of snacks for sale as well. Our room was clean and beds/pillows were very comfortable. Every part of the hotel we saw, including room and bathroom, were exceptionally clean. If our daughter ends up going to school in the area, we will for sure be staying here again next time we're in the Asheville area!

Breakfast was standard and well stocked. There was a variety of foods and the food was fresh. Hotel staff were always available when I had a question or problem and they were very helpful. They printed my boarding passes for my flight for me.

The trash cans in the room were small and did not have bags. So they got filled up fast and because the rooms are only cleaned every other day and I could not remove a full bag and set it outside my door, I ended up removing trash from the can and dumping it in the trash can in the hallway.

I actively seek any Tru by Hilton when affordable. I’ve stayed in 2-3 in different cities each time, and each time it’s been spectacular. Staff were so friendly and helpful. This one actually handed us complimentary water and snack while we waited for check in. The atmosphere is fun, vibrant and comfortable. Pool table is nice, artwork great on the wall. Rooms very clean. Everything works, new condition feeling. Soaps and everything feel good quality. View was nice here.

No complaints. Maybe better vegetables or less sugar based items

A nice hotel, perched up on the hill, distanced a bit from the road. The decor throughout is simple but modern. The breakfast offered was quite nice, as was the fire pit outside the entrance door.

The room was a little crowded. The room fridge was miniscule. Bathroom was spacious, but needs a little attention.. peeling wallpaper, signs of mold around the bottom of the shower.

The hotel was lovely, up to date, clean, and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the amenities, including the pool table and gym, and the breakfast options were great! Would definitely stay again.

There seemed to be some issues with the app (we tried to check in that way, but it wasn't working). It wasn't a big deal, we just checked-in in person. However, I can see some people really complaining about it. That said, it isn't the fault of the front desk staff! They were very friendly. I think it's an issue that Hilton needs to work out.

Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was good. On the wall opposite of the elevators were white boards with restaurant recommendations and etc written on them. Blinds in the room allowed, when closed together allowed little to no light, which we liked.

The walls seem a bit thin. We stayed two nights, our room was at the end of the hall. The first night we could hear the people in the neighboring room talking, walking, opening and closing doors. We heard nothing the second night, so we assumed the room was vacant.

The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating! They go above and beyond without having to even ask. One lady complained… loudly… about the omelette having meat in them b/c she is a vegetarian. I am too and felt I had plenty of options, but she wasn’t happy. They handled it very well and the of the time I was there, they had delicious scrambled eggs!

I had to run out around 8 to grab something and the area was sketchy. Closed down mall, etc. hopefully this hotel is part of a revitalization project. Oh the dumpster is next to the pool amd about 15 or so feet from the front of building. Friday is trash day. I’m sure we weren’t the only room that was woken by that. If there’s anyway to move that, I’d do it. But the staff more than made up for any inconvenience:)

The property was clean. Location was good. The attendant (Emily) was very nice and informative. Answered all the questions I asked.

The only complaint I had was the pillows. I didn’t not call room service to complain. Other note is that I always try to take my pillows from home on vacation but forgot them this time.

Great value for a clean and comfortable stay. Out of the thick of the city but close enough that downtown is only a short drive. The check in process was welcoming and the lobby had many activities like a pool table and games. I appreciated the shampoo/soap dispensers to reduce waste and the bed was firm and comfortable the way I like it.

would have liked to have been on the other side with a better view, but that wasn't a deal breaker.
