This is the nicest cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff do an outstanding job at making sure the whole place is clean from top to bottom. They have a bar, a lobby where you can purchase snacks or beverages including alcohol and coffee, cappuccino, espressos, etc., and an area where you can play pool or board games. When I walked into the room I was in, I was blown away. It was clean and fancy. There were two complimentary water bottles and a coffee maker and coffee pods to make your own coffee in the coffee maker. There were also some different tea bags to make your own tea and there were packs of sugar and sweetener. The bed was very cozy. I loved the lighting on top of the headboard. They make for good night lights. The bathroom was beautiful. When I saw the shower area, I thought it was as fancy as what you might see in the master bathroom of a nice house that only the wealthy could afford. There's also a safe in each room where you can secure your valuables with the use of a 4-digit code you come up with so that you don't risk losing anything valuable to you or just anything you don't want to lose that can fit in there. I highly recommend this place.

Breakfast is not included in the hotel reservation. You have to pay for it separately. You have a menu to use to decide what you want for breakfast.

Great location close to the interstate and about 20-25 minutes from the city center. But there was lots of shopping and dining nearby in the Ballantyne area including a few nice restaurants right next door only a short walk away. The hotel grounds and rooms were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the gym, indoor pool, and the bar and social area in the lobby.

The first room I checked into had a weird odor (like smelly feet) but the hotel staff gave me no problems switching to another odorless room while they aerated the previous room. However I lost my "city view" in the new room and the shower door wasn't sealed tight and had a leak that wet the bathroom floor each time I showered. I also didn't like that there was not a microwave in the room to warm up my takeout/leftovers.

The area is safe and adjacent to the up and coming The Bowl community rich with walking trails, restaurants and businesses. The fact that they are pet friendly with lots of green space is everything. There is even a key controlled door going to the lobby, so if a pet accidentally got lose in the hallway, it would be confined. The outside door has a wheelchair access opener so convenient when using a luggage cart and dog on a leash.

We hope the price per night doesn't climb with the completion of The Bowl community as this hotel is already at the high end of what we like to pay.

The rooms were thoughtfully designed. The hotel decor was great. We loved the bartender. He was very helpful with information and was an experienced mixologist.

Upon arrival the first thing the staff said was “can I see your drivers license?” Then they asked are you sure you are booked here? And never greeted me with a hello or welcome. I showed them my confirmation and then they were more attentive. Other than that the stay was wonderful. The front desk should be retrained on how to greet guests.

Loved that you could order breakfast the night before. Loved how pet friendly they are. Love how safe the surrounding area feels.

Initially sent to the wrong room (not a King bed) but the issue was quickly fixed. Most breakfast items cost extra. Hotel prices are high. A children's team was staying on the first night of our stay and they kept hopping from room to room until 11PM. The doors are super heavy which is great for safety but they make a loud noise when closing. We realize it was the chaperones who should have had higher standards for respect of others' comfort, but hotel staff could have stepped in.

Your staff. Didn’t mention breakfast. The coffee I had on the way out was average, but only one container, cups small so had to use two.

The lady at the checkin desk should be replaced with a robot. She was lifeless, exhibiting no emotion, she was not welcoming. Terrible representative of a hotel chain or service industry. She needs to be placed in accounting, maintenance or housekeeping. Just keep her away from your customers.

Super friendly staff, modern amenities, comfortable beds. Great bar and lobby/lounge space.

The bathroom design was unique and modern but ignored some basic useful details (i.e. a ledge/prop to shave legs, a shelf for personal toiletries in the shower). The water pressure was disappointing and the shower is integrated into the rooms in a way that might disturb a 2nd person who is resting in the room. There was also a concert going on the night I stayed there. The bass was so loud at times that the walls rattled in the hotel. I’d recommend checking the venue’s schedule (The Amp) ahead of booking if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

Safe area. Plenty of green space for our pet. Everyone is pet friendly and forgiving. Our son lives in Charlotte so we're here frequently and have stayed in a few different hotels. Aloft is in the safest area and has no additional pet fee.

I get that having to use a key to make the lights work both saves energy and adds security but then give us 3 cards so my husband and I both can carry one in and out for puppy relief. Staff was accommodating but didn't go that extra mile to make us feel like less of a burden and more like family.

Loved the helpful and friendly front staff, beautiful and clean rooms, comfortable bed, able to get an early check in and loved the bar/pool table in the lobby

I did not realize it was dog friendly when I booked it. Although I love dogs and have two of my own, there was a dog on our floor that barked all night long and I was not able to get any sleep. Since I had an early morning flight, this almost caused me to over sleep

It was a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. The hotel and room were clean and organized. The room was well appointed and the bed actually had comfortable pillows.

Honestly the room ceiling. It sounds weird, I know, but the room was so well appointed that the basically unfinished ceiling (painted plywood sheets) took me out of the ‘luxury’ feel.
