The hotel was only a few blocks away from downtown New Bern. We were able to walk and enjoy our evenings without the bother of finding parking. The staff was very warm and welcoming. We did not have food there but purchased a bottle of wine from the bar, and the barista was happy to open the bottle and supplied two glasses for our rooms so we could enjoy the balcony. Beds were very comfortable and ample space in the room.

It was very clean and quiet. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the river and park.

The TV stations were pathetic - this is an upscale hotel you expect premium Chanels. There are many things to do in the area, but there are times you want to stay in your room - in the evening, early morning and rainy days. So watching TV is important.

Location and size of the room.

Did not like workmen on scaffolding outside our room several days. Very disruptive. Also did not like the breakfast situation - very limited. Also, the pool was totally closed which we were not expecting nor told it would be.

Location perfect, view incredibly beautiful. Bed was soft and shower nice.

No microwave in the room. We paid appx $1000 for 3 nights. No free coffee or quick breakfast Just to get coffee at breakfast bar was way too slow and very expensive to eat.

Staff were amazing that evening when we checked in and the morning we checked out. Great customer services goes a long ways. The staff had smiles and a welcoming tone.

Everything was great. I liked it from the time I walked.

The shower had mold around it and the counter was broken and the floors were dirty. There was also no microwave.

Billing got screwed up between Booking.com and then they tried to bill me again upon checkout. If I wouldn’t have asked for a receipt upon checkout I wouldn’t have caught this

The hotel was very nice and the location was great.

The outside pool was shut down. The breakfast in the morning was a bit aggravating. We had 5 stay in the hotel. 2 adults and 3 children. They wouldn't let us gage but 2 breakfasts with our room. If I stayed here again, I would not get the room with breakfast included. It is a bistro that is overpriced and my family could not all eat with our expensive room.

The location is truly perfect for a visit to New Bern. The staff was friendly and there were no issues during the stay. It is definitely somewhere I would stay again on our next trip to New Bern as we visit regularly.

When I first arrived there was a sign at the desk advising that the desk person was assisting someone. They were gone for a while but got things done quickly upon return. Not a major issue, but did not notice the sign initially so it almost looked abandoned.
