The staff was exceptional in their job the ambiance was definitely Cherokee style no other way to describe it not to mention they did explain there is a $50 deposit on cash pay when you pay at the counter so be prepared and I don't blame them the place is so nice they deserve to have that deposit you get it back in cash if you pay by cash the next day don't blame them it's not the policy they wanted to enforce but had to you'll love it here it's awesome! Trust me when you lay down in one of their beds it makes them for everything they're so comfy

There's nothing I didn't like except for maybe the reason for the visit

The view was beautiful. Love the hot tub the bed was comfortable with clean sheets slept well. Coffee maker. The area by the water was so nice we built a fire with their firewood.. the living room tv was very nice

The lack of cleanliness the hot tub was a bit dirty including the water and the side walls are dirty, the cover is completely trashed The stove inside and out was dirty. The silverware drawer had dirt in it. All the rugs were dirty with dirt and dog hair. The outdoor cushions need to be thrown out and replaced. the tv outside was useless the couch was not comfortable and dirty

I was pleasantly surprised with how nice and clean everything was. The bed was very comfortable, and I love the little table and microwave so I could have my devotions with a simple breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the porch by the river, and the birds that come right up close sitting in the tree. Nice, quiet location, and no one bothers you. I will very likely stay here again in the near future.

Lighting could be a bit better, like a lamp or some light at the table. I did see one ant on the air conditioning unit. I only took a double room because it was cheaper, as I am a widow. I would have preferred a lamp by the bed I slept in, in the middle instead of by the other bed. I tried moving it, but the plug outlet did not work. Other than that, no complaints, I enjoyed it.

Close to the Casino, the dorm size fridge worked very well. Hot water was super, it stayed hot for at least 30 minutes. Will stay again if we go back

It took me 30 minutes to get to Western Carolina University one way. Wished I would have known this. Also needed a pet friendly motel which it was. The booking agent never said how much it would be per night so to my surprise it was an extra $100 that I wasn't planning on spending. Maybe that should have been included on the price when booking.

that I upgraded to a better place. But they put my card was NO GOOD, after I got email from Booking.com about my card I called the bank. My payment was done processed. I went back to the office and asked why the email??? I was told only way to upgraded to the cabin villa was to tell Booking. com my card was no good. They should have just said upgraded???? My card is good

It was absolutely perfect. Nothing too fancy but simplisticly perfect. Having the river directly in the front of the cabin was pure magic. The kids fished and played endlessly. Bonfires and grilling out in the common areas were also amazing. I could be there every day and be one happy lady. We cannot wait to go back.

It was a nice stay, loved being on the stream with a porch. Loved it was pet friendly not charged extra.

Given room that was not cleaned perhaps an oversite/mistake, but they were on it and cleaned to perfection! Unfortunately, the person before us obviously smoked in room, that person should be charged extra!! Even though it clearly states NO Smoking! I am not a smoker so this is a highly bothersome when sleeping, the odor was awful!

The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in while traveling. I loved how peaceful the porch on the water was. The room was so big and comfortable. The shower head that detaches and water pressure were amazing. Nice cold air conditioning. I can’t wait to do back.

The only thing I would have liked would be a curtain over the window above the air conditioner, I know it may be hard to get the right size but I would have loved a thick curtain like the doors had but the other two guest with me didn’t mind at all. We really loved this place.

A quiet, medium-sized cabin with a bedroom, a kitchen and a living room, plus an outside balcony right next to a small river. Plenty of parking, pet friendly. A commercial zone with a supermarket and quite a few restaurants is about 10 minutes walk (2 minutes drive). The town of Cherokee is about 5 minutes drive and is interesting to visit. We saw a lot of elks near Oconaluftee river trail.

The WiFi didn't work and the TV was a bit blurry. It's not a fancy place, but it is not expensive, so the value for money is excellent.

Very clean mini cabin villas equipped with comfortable beds, large TV's, fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Beautiful peaceful riverfront views right outside the back deck. Perfect place for having morning coffee. Love the outdoor amenities available to guests including family fun games, firepit areas with precut fire wood, seating, & lighting. Qualla cabins is now our most favorite extended weekend getaway!
