We booked a room at the Front Street Inn for 1 night when coming to Wilmington to visit a friend. It's a nice boutique Inn in a very convenient location. We stayed in the Amsterdam room which was very nice and comfortable. The location is close to everything you may need within easy walking distance. The Concorde Coffee Shop is located in the hotel which makes morning drinks easy to obtain without leaving the Inn. You get a discount on coffee if you are a guest at the Inn. Overall, a great experience. This will be out go to place to stay next time we visit Wilmington.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Front Street Inn for a variety of reasons. We arrived somewhat early, but we were greeted with enthusiasm and shown where to park whilst we wandered off for a walk into town. The room was lovely; large with plenty of room for luggage, chocolates nestled in the beautiful bed linens, the bed was very comfortable, the shower had plenty of pressure and everything was spotlessly clean. There is a wonderful little cafe on site, serving pastries and great coffee in the morning, and drinks and snacks in the evening. There is also a wonderful outdoor area, heated for the colder evenings -a perfect place for a cocktail or two

A little confusing on you have to go to the coffee shop to check in but once I got to the room I was completely enthralled how nice it was. Even too pics to show off how nice the room was. Every detail was thoroughly considered. Once you get used to navigating around coffee customers to get your luggage in, you’ll be fine. Hotel located right in the thick of everything. Coffee shop located on sight was great!!

Very Spacious room; interesting decor keeping old architectural details in room, lots of windows, helpful manager who helped bring my suitcase up the stairs and immediately replaced dying batteries in lock. He also brought me a lower profile pillow when requested. Comfortable armchairs and great wooden floor. Very clean.

I wish there were real glasses and ceramic cups instead of disposable. Doors and closet were partially blocked by furniture. It was easily moved, but unusual that it was just not placed differently. Overall though not a big problem.

Breakfast at a partner facility nearby was quite nice. The Cottage was spacious and clean—and very convenient to downtown Wilmington.

The operation of the televisions was a bit tricky. We could not find a local PBS station nor CNN. There may be a way to access them, but an information sheet with the remotes would be most helpful. It was frustrating.

The location of this bed and breakfast was perfect, as it was walking distance to downtown and the Riverfront. I really liked that the onsite parking was included, which isn't typical of hotels located in downtown areas. This hidden gem exceeded my expectations. Staff was attentive as this was one of my first bookings utilizing the online and texting app for check in and check out.

The breakfast advertised was offered at an off site location (sister property). With there being a Concorde Expresso being located onsite, maybe offer guests an incentive for coffee beverages and/or bakery products to be included with stay.

Beautiful room in a great section of the city. Surrounded by stores, restaurants, and bars, easily walkable.

Odd / rude note in room detailing how guests will be charged hundreds of dollars for staining sheets or towels with makeup, etc…. Makes you paranoid to sleep on the sheets / pillow, especially since I had just had my hair colored a few days prior. Thankfully no dye rubbed off on pillowcases.

It is an absolute superlocation and so nicely located downtown. A good bar and great garden. Staff is nice and helpful. We had a great breakfast at Veranda b&b nearby. If you like a hotel with charm this is the place.

The room was spacious, but several things were broken, and the standard was not four stars at all. Officials say 3 stars, and here on Booking 4 stars. For us the standard was 2 star hotel.

The property was in the most perfect location. It was so nice too, definitely a beautiful place to stay. Our room was gorgeous.

I did not know where the front desk was located upon checking in, and I didn’t not see it in the instructions either. Although we did not need to go to the front desk to check in, I would have loved to know where it was. I loved how getting into our rooms was so easy as well. I am grateful to the staff that helped us find it.

Very cozy Kipling Suite, brick walls with high ceiling, plantation shutters, with a wonderful conveniently co-located Expresso bar in the vintage facility. Only one block from the Wilmington Riverwalk. Will be our location of choice for future visits.

Need a stronger WIFI signal, suggest a MESH WIFI system.
