Very modern and clean. Nice facilities and gym room. The outside pool area was closed due to the time of year but it is beautiful! Parking lot area was nice,we felt safe. Lots of stores and restaurants very close by. The breakfast was fantastic. It was a little different each day but had eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes, fruit, cereal, pastries, etc. The lobby and restaurant areas were new and modern, comfortable. The lobby staff were especially nice. The one woman, her name was Tee was so nice and friendly. I will definitely look for more Tru hotels in the future.

New very modern thoughtful design. I love their lobby. The rooms are different from traditional hotels: space was utilized wisely no unnecessary big dressers that nobody uses, plenty easily reachable electric outlets and USB ports to recharge electronics. The bed was very comfortable temperature in the room is easily adjustable. There’s shower with glass doors instead of dangerous bathtub with annoying curtains. Their towels are thick and fluffy, They serve really nice breakfast in the lobby. The best part was automatic pancake maker I have never seen anything like that before. It was fun to wave your hand and see through the glass viewer how your pair of pancakes were created. There is self serve complimentary coffee hot chocolate and a variety of teas 24x7 in the lobby. If I need to stay in Wilmington overnight again this would be my preferred choice.

Room could have been a little bigger but it was quite comfortable. The refrigerator is small without freezer but it is ok for 1-2 nights stay. No microwave in room, there’s maybe one in lobby but I didn’t ask.

Brand new facility, less than one year old, very nice! All encounters with any of your service staff were excellent!! All friendly, helpful, professional, polite, quick to assist, and respectful. I would definitely like to return to your Tru by Hilton hotels! Wonderful and relaxing experience!

Hmmmmm. No complaints, really. Hair dryer was not in the room.... Had trouble opening the horizontal window blinds... BUT these incidentals were immediately rectified, fast service! Great!

Right away, the staff when you walked in were great! Friendly and really nice. Super quick check-in. The room was very clean. Plenty of towels. We only stayed one night for a concert, so out early the next morning. But it was quiet all night and a lot of people eating breakfast so it must have been good. The pool area was really cool and very big. We will definitely stay again for our next concert in wilmington.

Parking lot was a little small, but nothing major.

Amazing hotel and the staff was so friendly and helpful! Toni at the front desk was so helpful with a couple minor issues and gave us great recommendations on good local places to eat!! Will definitely stay there again! Brand new hotel.

Apparently heat doesn't kick on until 10pm. So the room was a little chilly. After the heat kicked on and started running it was comfy. Also.... no big deal, but our shower had 2 body wash(one empty) and conditioner.... no shampoo

Loved the staff. Tony on second shift was absolutely amazing 😀. She helped us with ideas of what to do and was very friendly and inviting after our long drive. I mentioned her by name but all the staff I interacted with were amazing. The room was clean, comfortable and they provided soap, shampoo, and conditioner in large bottles. I will absolutely be coming back here. Pool table was fun with my kids.

There was nothing that I didn't like. Love this place and look forward to coming back.

Location was great perfect to go downtown and enjoy all the things to see and restaurants. Enjoyed there was 24/7 coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice comfortable room, wonderful black out screen or curtain that allows light in.

Wish the pool would have been completed, will definitely be a nice added amenity. I did have food left in the fridge from previous guest in the room, and I had to clean the toilet a bit. Aside from that great stay.

Would have liked if there were larger garbage/recycling cans near ice machine or somewhere on floor (unless I didn't see it - but didn't see any near ice machine area) so I could dispose of trash on my own if I wanted to as garbage cans in the room are small and didn't want to leave a lot of trash for cleaning service. Otherwise, everything was great!

This property is exceptionally clean with a nice modern vibe. I was pleasantly surprised to see the outside entertainment as well, a very nice feature. The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating to my needs.

I ended up passing the property a few times getting in because it’s not exactly street front.

Breakfast was very good, room was clean and comfortable.

AC didn’t work in the gym - hotel is brand new so still working out the kinks I guess. Parking spaces were very close together and there weren’t enough, we had to park in the adjoining hotel parking lot. It was very difficult to get out of the parking lot as the stop light only allows like 1 car at a time to go through.
