It was in a good location where everyone could get to where they need to go to. The housekeeping staff was amazing and kept our room up.

The desk staff was definitely rude. We could see that they were nicer to the white people than they were to the minorities specifically black. I asked for suggestions the first day and they looked as if it was an issue, but then I watched them give somebody else directions the next day with no problem because they were lighter than me.

Location, staff was great the confront of the room and bed nice sleep the lobby was spacious ²

I truly appreciated the professionalism and responsiveness of the staff. From allowing me to check in a little early, and stay a little later, to quickly responding to my inquiries via text during my stay, to the kindness and care of the breakfast, bartender, and cleaning crew, their Customer Service was five star ⭐. The bed was soooooo comfortable!! The location allowed me to easily experience both Wrightsville and Carolina beaches multiple times during my 24 hours in the area. Breakfast was fine with basic fare, and the elevator was always readily available. The location is close to so many things a travelers needs, which was very helpful as I stocked up on groceries and enjoyed a delicious meal at a restaurant nearby.

My only concerns were: 1. I was very surprised to be able to hear a full phone conversation coming from another room when I woke up at 5AM to go catch the sunrise. The person was not talking loudly, and neither was the person they apparently had on speaker phone, but somehow I could hear everything they were saying. Made me wonder if they had heard the television in my room because I fell asleep with it on. 2. The noise issue also extended to the slamming of the doors. Not intentional, but the doors slam shut, great for security, but a nuisance to hear when multiple people are going in and out of their rooms. These were minor issues, that did not impact my overall enjoyment and appreciation for a great stay.

Breakfast very good and ample, but consistent and same everyday. Room excellent. Cleanliness throughout the property, not just the room or the hotel, but including the entrances and extensive parking lot, is exceptional. The senior owner lady actually makes daily rounds of the property with a checklist in hand. I have not seen such attention to detail in most other hotels. The lady that attends / manages the Breakfast is the most efficient, helpful and kindest. Certainly going above and beyond. They have guest appreciation drinks (2 alcoholic or non-alcoholic each) and snacks every Mon through Thu, 5 to 7 pm. If its Wilmington NC, this definitely is our stay going forward.

The lady attending guest appreciation could have been little friendlier. But then, I guess bartenders have a need to be grumpy. Ha Ha. We had non-alcoholic drinks though, so that could have been the issue.

The room was clean and quiet, the beds comfortable, and there were three squishy pillows per bed. The room had a fridge and microwave, a strong box for valuables, and plenty of towels, giving us more anytime we asked. The room lighting was pretty good, and so was the bathroom. Four stories and two elevators meant very little waiting for the elevator, even in the morning. The parking lot is well lit. The breakfast had a few hot choices, including a pancake maker and real oatmeal, as well as eggs and a few other things that changed a little from day to day. Free coffee 24/7, and weekdays wine, beer, and soda from 5-7 pm. The location is convenient; Wilmington, with its infamous traffic, can be hard to navigate. The hotel has entrances from two streets so one or the other can be avoided if need be.

Mostly I liked this hotel and would stay there again without hesitation. A couple of complaints, not really complaints at all: at breakfast there was no plant milk as an option, only cow's milk, and the ceiling in the bathroom has some peeling paint.

The staff was amazing. There was an issue with our shower and within 15 minutes from calling we were given a new room and he even checked to make sure everything was working before giving us the new room.

The food could have been better. Some of the breakfast items were lacking. The muffin my daughter tried to eat was very dry. There wasn't really a cereal option for a toddler. Also the milk being opened in the fridge weird me out personally. Also I walked to get dinner and all of the entrances around the building were locked, if i could have used my room key to get in 1 it would have been nice.

the price of the room was pretty good considering we booked the week of. The staff was great the ones I came in contact with, I have stayed at this hotel many times and I have never had a bad experience and this time was no different.

In the bathroom it looked like it was mold in the corner near the shower on the ceiling also the light near the coffee maker flickered on and off. The view was not great because all we could see was like the roof since we were in a higher room, but I didn't book for the view so it wasn't a big deal.

The room was very clean. The staff was quick to accommodate us with extra towels and so forth. The continental breakfast was one of the best we've experienced with a great variety of breakfast items. Lastly, the 24 hour supply of coffee(regular or decaf)has sold us !!! 😊

The only problem that we had during our stay was that the safe in our room did not work for us. The manager attempted to fix it by replacing the battery. It worked once, but it didn't work after that. Our belongings were totally safe in the room, however, so we ended up having NO problems.

The facilities are always clean. This is my 4th stay at this location . staff are always friendly .continental breakfast is great . I love this location is close to the restaurant's and shopping within walking distance. Its just 5 miles from the center of downtown Wilmington, in which you can easily drive or take an Uber it's also close to local beaches such as wrightsvillel beach or Carolina beach, however, during the warmer months Beaches are crowded be sure to get there early.

Clean room, comfortable, large bed. Good breakfast (nice selection). Close to public transport (bus stop). Excellent value for money and a definite recommendation if you are coming by or plan to rent a car (or use taxis).

Area is not really suitable for pedestrians, so if you are not coming by car, you might want to consider staying somewhere closer to either Downtown or beaches. Public transport stop is close to the hotel but there are simply no pedestrian crossings around hotel (absurd but it is what it is). This is, of course, not hotel's fault but you might want to be aware of it. Hotel is otherwise excellent and I definitely recommended it!
