Everything was clean. Towels were soft and smelled pleasant. No hotel smell. Staff were friendly. Because of inclement weather I booked a second night. No problems w/ that. I travel with my service dog and there were plenty of places to walk right outside the hotel. This is a busy area but room was quiet. There were several nice parks close by for me to walk w/ my pup (although the weather was crazy). Breakfast was fine… the usual fare. They had empanadas the first morning so that was a nice change. Also had almond milk available and fresh fruit. Shower had hot water and good pressure.

This is a personal remark and subjective to each individual. The bed was too soft… like a marshmallow. I like a very firm bed w/ a slightly soft top. My sleep was off due to pain but, again, this is something each person has to decide for themselves. I had no other issues.

The pool was closed during our stay but the kids wanted to spend the time at the beach so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast was good and the kids enjoyed it with the freshly made waffles. It was clean and kept fully stocked the entire time. Room was clean and didn't smell like smoke or pets which typically happens in a lot of rooms. Staff was super friendly

At this time I can't say anything bad besides the pool being closed.

I especially liked how the staff was. Each and every one of them went out of their way to help, and it was done with a smile. What a pleasant environment they all created. I would go there every single time, just because of their staff. Hope they keep it up

The hotel room was ‘wet’. They set the air on to run the whole time and would not switch off because presumably they wanted to avoid that wetness which made it dangerous for kids, in fact, one of our kids slipped and fell because of it

Wonderful greeting from staff. Especially the breakfast preparers and front desk staff. Enjoyed seeing improvements in the bed area of the room. Would love to see updated bathroom ceiling tile (the tile needed replacing, as it did not compliment the updated bed area side).

After multiple complaints about the refrigerator not working, a maintenance person came to my room, turned on the refrigerator, but never noticed it wasn't unplugged. I had to toss out our food. My husband finally realized the refrigerator wasn't plugged in, and he plugged it in. The front desk night clerk offered my husband and I a new room. However, after driving 12 hours to the hotel to attend a family members funeral, we were exhausted and did not want to repack and lug our belongings to another room.

I liked the physical location of the property because it was near restaurants and places to shop. Another thing I liked about the property was the fact that it was located off the main road just a bit so you could have some solitude and peace somewhat.

The only thing I’d say if I had to say anything would be the beds could be more plush. They are a little bit more firm than I like but the overall room was nice and came well equipped with essential items.

Continental breakfast was good. Staff in the food area was helpful and attentive to guest needs. Pet friendly hotel allowed us to vacation with our fur babies.

Not enough towels in the bathroom. Miscommunication with arrival time and rooms weren’t ready in advance. Poor customer service from Brittany, Tammy and Steve re: room readiness. Brittany ran the card on file prior without confirming with me because the card I reserved room With wasn’t the card I was using upon check in.

Do you know the hotel type common near airports? Newish large comfortable rooms with two beds, real food for a hot breakfast, nothing to do outside but it's a quiet safe location? I hoped to find one for the last night before my flight home from CLT in the late afternoon. And that was exactly it. It's located about 5 miles from the historic downtown. There's no free parking anywhere close to it anyway so I had no regrets staying within a 15 minute drive from it.

Pool was great, front desk attendants were very kind and helpful. Location was convenient for both downtown and beach trips. Also has a reasonably good complimentary breakfast, and nice open eating space.

When we arrived, the room we were given the bathroom looked to have been missed by cleaning staff. There was still stuff in the toilet, the floor and tub were dirty. When we told Staff, they immediately offered another room. Cleaning staff also started to clean our room before we checked out while we were eating breakfast downstairs, and threw out all our road trip snacks that were in the fridge and on the counter. That was a bummer, but again they offered complimentary snacks from their stuff which was kind, but doesn't fit with our diet constrictions.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Pool was relaxing. This was probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in.

After staying in your hotel for 6 days I checked out I went to the airport and after a 6hr wait my flight was cancelled. I was exhausted and needed to book another hotel stay for 8hrs. I called Best Western and explained my situation to hopefully get a better rate due to this mishap but that didn't happen. The person taking my call said there was nothing he could do and those were the rates.

It was conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. It was a few miles away from the beach. It had a nice size pool and it was clean with plenty of seating. The property is pet friendly. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

There was only 1 person available during check in at 3:00 pm. The room was not very clean. Even though it was pet friendly, they neglected to tell you there was a non refundable charge!! The room keys, both of them, rarely worked the outside doors. Even new ones.
