Excellent location!

Breakfast - only a slight issue - I think they need a front of house manager to welcome breakfast guests and also make sure that everything is running smoothly - the customized omlette station was had long lines and when my husband went back for his someone else had taken it - the self service was also overcrowded and items were not being replenished although the food was good and there was nice variety - I had to hunt down a fork and no one seemed in charge of making sure things ran smoothly - tables also needed to be cleared promptly - we arrived at about 930 so to be fair this may have been just the last 30 minute rush - I liked that the dining staff were friendly and asked if we wanted coffee before they cleared up - it was pleasant overall Check out: I think housekeeping could be a bit gentler - it felt they were rushing and under pressure about reminding us that we had to check out at 11am - we were especially surprised that a member of housekeeping actually opened the door without permission before 11am and also at 11am knocked - a few minutes grace would have been nice - I think that the staff was very nice other than that I loved the diversity of the staff and guests - and the relaxed and upscale decor. Room - the room was excellent - the river view wonderful - we would definitely stay again - I think that they could have made it better by giving more than complimentary water - it would have been nice to get some complimentary fruit or candy, toiletries and notebook and pen for example for paying over $200 a night that extra touch would have made it exceptional Summary of positives Location Parking Diversity of staff and customers Decor Cleanliness Dining area and pleasant dining staff Great views of the river

The hotel was great, nice room, just a couple of blocks from our event. It was a very convenient location. The staff was great, especially the female valet who helped us with our luggage.

When we checked out and were waiting for a male valet to bring our vehicle around, he said he had lost the keys/the manager had left with our keys, about 10 minutes later, he told us he had located our keys, that they were not missing just misplaced on the stand, he then informed a couple standing beside us that it was THEIR keys that were lost.

Nice hotel, conveniently located for traveling by car. It is very convenient for walking along the river embankment and through the city center. Very friendly and helpful staff (Sara at the reception was stunningly attentive to details) A good view from the room window to the river, but the windows in the room did not open and the room itself is a little inconvenient layout for a family of 4 people. I recommend it for a short stop in Wilmington and sightseeing in the city.

Lovely modern and spacious Hotel on the Wilmington waterfront. Suite style room was well appointed, with good seating, desk, plenty of lighting options, and convenient USB points. Bed was near perfect. The view frim the picture windows was worth the small price uplift. Complimentary early evening drinks were a nice touch, and the breakfast option was both comprehensive and plentiful. The location was peaceful (weekend), an adjoined the riverside boardwalk.

The toilet door was of the sliding variety and was smaller than the door opening.... in effect you couldn't 'close' it in the normal sense.... there was always a 6" gap on one side or the other!

Upon checking out the staff accommodated us which is big for me because I have a Down syndrome son with a lot of medical needs.

The check in process. I didn’t get the same experience as the person next to me. He was offered to join the Hilton Honors, the rep was very engaged and had great conversation. I barely got greeted and when I did, it was just “what can we do for you?” When I said I was checking in, I gave my name and he just stared at me as if I should know what the next step was. He took my ID, asked how many keys I needed and that was it. He didn’t tell me how to get to the room or what the hotel had to offer. I felt unwelcome.

From check-in to check-out, everything was great. The location was great. At the time I booked, didn't realize there was a riverfront boardwalk. That was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and great customer service. The comfort of the bed was incredible!!!!

The area where breakfast was being served was congested. I think it was a bit unorganized. People were standing around in the way of where the food was. I also did not like the fact that parking was an extra charge to park in garage. It was maybe $8 less than valet.

Staff was impressive. Kind and very accommodating. I enjoyed the warm pool and the yummy breakfast

Update lamps to charge phone lamps The kind that are wireless Brighter bulbs in the bathroom especially by the mirror. Ladies love great light to apply makeup Maybe negotiating a lower price for parking with the parking deck owners,$10 a day

It was wonderful. Complimentary drinks and water upon arrival. Valet parking. They had an excellent restaurant with an impressive menu. The beds were relaxing and a Starbucks coffee to go. They are also situated on a lake which has a large boardwalk. Great experience! Will return!

There’s was absolutely nothing I would change. Exceptional

The staff was exceptional. We enjoyed being treated special worth two complimentary drinks and two bottles of water We totally enjoyed the Steam Restaurant! Walking on the boardwalk was nice. Starbucks to get us going on the road again and a valet to bring our vehicle. We have been spoiled and pampered and loved it!!
