The location is really nice, right on the boardwalk and right next door to the train museum. The hotel itself is actually built into a portion of the historic Atlantic Coast Line corporate offices. They also have a nice pool table for free in the lobby and several other family games. We really liked this hotel and plan to stay at other Aloft hotels in the future based on this experience.

The design of the room is loft style which means the bathroom isn't as isolated as in a normal hotel room. That was a little awkward for our family with teenagers and parents all in the same room. There was a curtain but no door.

The staff is AMAZING! The view from the rooftop is amazing! The location is perfect and uts an incredible value! The rooftop bar has nice appetizers and drinks which makes it an even more delightful experience.

The layout of the bathroom is a little odd. I wish there was another door to separate the sink area from the rest of the room. But that is just a preference thing. Not a fan of the paid parking either but it seems normal for the area.

The room was nicely decorated and very well appointed, and the views were great. The location is also great, right in the middle of the downtown riverfront. The bed was excellent, it's one of the first times I've ever stayed in a hotel and my back didn't hurt because of the difference in the hotel mattress and my mattress at home. All around a great experience!

The room was a little pricey, and the staff at the rooftop restaurant could have been friendlier. Although the rooms are a little expensive, given the location and the prices of surrounding establishments, they aren't unreasonable.

The shower… the shower curtain was just awkward I will take a stall with a door I have usually had a great interaction with the staff… however the young man who checked us in was not very personable…

Location, Atmosphere and room were all great.

I didn't like having to pay $20 more for parking. And then when I pulled up and the lot was full I was confused. There were lots of empty spots in the parking lot that were reserved for a different hotel. It was late... trying to figure out where to park was the last thing I wanted to be doing.

Perfect location and close to Live Oak Banks Pavilion!

No close parking and parking attendant, even though he was special needs, was extremely rude! When I tried to talk to the front desk while checking in the were rude about the situation.

The location was great for the concert that they had. The lounge and outdoor areas were superb. The guest services and housekeeping were always so helpful. Our friends loft/room was so roomy u may consider it for the next stay.

The price was a bit steep but we got through it. There wasn’t anything else about the hotel that didn’t meet my expectations or that I didn’t like. This was our second time staying here so we will be back.

We came with our two dogs so without a doubt the nicest & best dog friendly place around. You can walk right up to the downstairs bar with pups in hand! Pool tables & an epic outdoor area right around the bar too!

We didn’t like that our special request wasn’t fulfilled, being that we chose to spend my fiancee’s birthday here😬

Everyone was so sweet! We traveled for my cousin's wedding, and this hotel was so accommodating to my family and me. Especially my limited mobility 87 y/o grandmother they upgraded us to a suite because they had no handicapped rooms available. Thank you to the lovely staff!

Room service was not as often as we would've liked we were told they come on the 3rd day. The front desk was more than able to provide towels and such.
