The Coastal Inn is not fancy but the accommodations were super clean, the bed was comfy and the staff were exceptionally welcoming. This place was perfect for our one-night stay in Wilmington. It was close to Greenfield Amphitheater ($10 Lyft ride) and super close to the BEST breakfast place ever - Goody Goody Omelet House!!

The room we had was on the sub-ground floor (had a window looking out on the lawn), but we should have asked to be on a floor above. Also, I believe the staff room/closet was on our floor so it was a bit loud early in the morning. Our fault for not asking for a different room.

I enjoy this facility. It’s quiet and clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I have managed several hotels and I must say this one has great management/ownership

I had an incident that I’d rather not post but pay a little closer to your check in process. In your down time print out a vacant ready list and check them.this is old school but very much still needed. Prevents surprises for your guest. This process needs to be done at least twice on each shift especially with high check in volumes. Other than that the place is great. And the front desk associate that checked me in Thank you sir for your above and beyond service of trying to correct the problem.

The staff were amazing, so helpful and inviting. The room was clean, the bathroom was in great condition and overall we had a great stay. I would stay there again.

There was no freezer in the rooms, but that was the only thing. The rest was nice and the vending machines were a good touch. Lots of grass too for my dog.

It's an older building, and the flooring hasn't been updated. It was old, very dirty (looking) carpet. This did not change my opinion of the place. It was a nice stay at a great price.

Very centrally located and great staff. The Manager and rest of staff there were great as well. Affordable, convenient location, and quiet ( no riff raff).

Bed mattress we had was comfortable but could have been better.

The staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and there were plenty of fresh towels. Easy access to places in Wilmington.

The carpets are in need of replacement badly. They were heavily stained and sticky.

Clean room

Dirty carpets, no access from outside, couldn't find attendant at check out to get receipt.

Everything was super clean and smelled good. I enjoyed the room, it was comfortable for my one night stay. The location felt very safe and staff was awesome!

The toilet would take a long time to fill back up between flushes

I did not eat breakfast.

It was fine.
