The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, without costing an arm and leg, and within walking distance of an excellent ramen restaurant. It had a guest laundry that was efficient and cheap. And best of all was the help of Lynne (unsure of the spelling she uses) in the office who was so friendly and helpful when the next night in a different city we realized we'd left a bag in the parking lot. She had the bag and arranged to have it sent back by UPS and made it so easy. She also helpfully waited a few days to mail it when I mentioned we would not be home for a few days. Some of the things in the bag I could have replaced at some cost but others were irreplaceable (my sketchbook drawings especially). If I'm ever in Bismarck again I will stay at this hotel again.

I would consider it higher up on the cleanliness, and we are picky with two kiddos. It was SO quiet our entire stay (however it wasn’t crowded and we were on second floor so that could play a part). The beds were super comfortable to us. Staff was incredibly friendly and check in/out was a breeze. Centrally located to a lot of things so that’s a plus. Plenty of parking close to building. Breakfast is an option even though we didn’t take advantage of it. Room stayed at the temp we wanted no problem!

We were unaware that there was no elevator on site so.. that’s not entirely fun when lugging up a bunch of necessities for 2 kiddos under 3. It didn’t bother us, but there is no pool! So others should be aware of that too. The building itself is tricky to navigate. They could for sure use more signage or some other strategy to get your bearings quicker!

We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful place to stay. The beds were really comfortable; the breakfast was very good. I do have to make a special compliment to the beautiful lady that handled our reservation, she made sure that we had a room that fit our needs. Another special compliment, this time to Shelley, who made sure that our room was neat and clean. The young man that checked us in was so friendly. We would certainly recommend this motel to anyone.

As far as the location it was great it was right off of interstate 94 that was a very good location. The breakfast was out of this world it was a good breakfast and the breakfast area was very clean and acceptable. The motel was in great shape our room was just newly remodeled. The bed was excellent. The TV worked as a charm. Many motels we stayed at in the past either the TVs weren't working there was mold on the walls. Some motels didn't even have a shower curtain until I put one up by myself. This motel has everything done to a perfection.

What was unpleasant was people who smoke outside too close to the entrances of the building. This should be enforced better but it seems like it's the same all over in any motel I've ever stayed at.

The staff members were wonderful regarding our pets. The nearby park was a great surprise for walking the dog. Breakfast was good with lots of variety.

Our first night was noisy because of the exuberant children in the room next door. Certainly not something the staff could foresee, but when mentioned to the front desk they must have spoken with the family because for the second night they were more thoughtful and not bouncing on furniture/speaking loudly late into the night. The Raisin Bran dispenser was stiff. It dumped more cereal than I wanted both mornings.

If you happen to read my review in Council Bluffs, Iowa, you'll know why I write this one the way I do. This was another one of those two story hotels with no elevator. We has a lot of stuff for medical reasons. I like the top floor because people tend to walk heavily above you and I don't want to hear it. Well, unlike Council Bluffs, this hotel had an awesome cleaning professional, Michelle? (25 years in the business) who helped up get our stuff to the top without us asking for help. She did not have to do this. Unlike the other hotel, she saw my 74 year old mother and thought it would be a great idea to help. (By the way, I would not have had my 74 year old mother help me with the things : -) She was prepared to help us in the morning, too, but I had already taken care of it. I go on and on about this because it meant so much and Michelle should be recognized for going above and beyond. Oh, and the room, breakfast, morning front desk, etc. were great.

Nothing

First thing when we entered the hotel was the friendly and cheerful greeting we received from the ladies at the front desk. We were given a room on the second floor which by its appearance had been recently completely renovated - new pillow top mattress, new furniture, new bathroom, very clean and all the rooms had been fitted with new doors with card lock security. Breakfast was good. Overall a very pleasant experience and we would definitely stay here again if travelling through Bismarck.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The location was good. Our room looked recently remodeled and was clean, tidy and comfortable.

The walls seemed a bit thin and the people in the room next door could be heard several times during our stay. Also there was no hand soap at the sink, which was located outside the bathroom. So we had to get body wash from the bathroom then go to the sink to wash our hands. Not awful just odd.

Breakfast was good every morning, staff was helpful. Beds were very comfortable and the sheets and pillows were nice. Large TV in the room, and a larger mini fridge with a separate freezer. I stayed for six days.

No elevator definitely sucked when it came to carrying my bags alone, as well as when I was bringing in groceries for my longer stay. The water in the room smelled bad when I turned it on but otherwise seemed safe.

It was in process of being remodeled. Some hallways didn’t have carpet finished but don’t let that deter you. Our room was done. It was very clean and fresh with nice new carpet you could Walk barefoot on. The frig was large with a top Freezer. I do like a good hot breakfast and they delivered except no black tea bags. That is like no coffee to me. They can’t be that expensive.
