This is my second review as we were on a return trip and my wife was hospitalized in Bismark so I took a chance on this hotel because of the price. The room i had this time #344 was much better than the room #121 we had on our way to Montana, John at front desk was very helpful. The room did show it's age but overall was clean and bed was comfortable. Small stain on carpet, but you can't replace the carpet everytime someone spills something. For the price during the week not a bad value. But the price for Friday night puts this property way down on my list, found a better property nearby for less money.

The lady that i checked out with in the morning. She was crabby and didn't want to give me a receipt because I booked with a third party agency. I paid at the hotel I should get a receipt from the hotel, she did finally give me one.

Location, convenient, staff friendly

Carpet was dirty, bedspread had stains (that weren't mine) , full stock of celery behind chair, snacks on floor in bathroom with curly black hair attached, sunflower seeds on floor, empty pop bottle under bed, food remnants in drawer, door did not close properly, television did not work, bathtub drain needs snake/cleaning, refrigerator needs defrost. Garbage cans by entry doors overflowing, doors marked "secure, closed 24 hours" , were open 24 hours

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean which is a plus because the week before when we stayed there the room wasn't vacuumed. We really enjoyed staying at the Inn. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job!!

When assigning rooms to people, especially ones with pets, door access (by elevator if on upper floors) and not by the bar or conference rooms (dogs will bark) should be a priority. And also, if an elderly couple comes in, they should not be assigned a room by the bar. We were happy where we were but another one of our party was not because the noise of the bar people.

I like that it was very clean. The breakfast bar is quite delicious giving options of scrambled eggs and sausage, muffins, waffles, many different breads, yogurt and a few fruit options. The pool was quite resting and it was very unique as it sat in the middle of the interior surrounded by either balconies or rooms with a view.

I wish the room Had more electrical plugs. I feel As though I should have brought powerstrip.

The breakfast was good. Not great, but good. But extra points because they opened it at 5am for me for an early flight out. I don't know any other hotel that would do that. I loved their free airport shuttle (and extra kudos because it ran 24/7). I liked the ticket for a free drink at their bar (which is open until 1AM). The beer selection was disappointing (on tap were 3 light beers and one Leinenkugel, but the Leinenkugel was only $3 for a pint during long happy hours, and pretty tasty -- free popcorn, too).

There were a lot of unsupervised kids around. Like when I went to use the pool, there were 3 little unsupervised kids playing in it and the pool is not too big, so I passed on the pool. I hoped for the hot tub, but it is literally a "hot" tub, with no jacuzzi jets, and there was an unsupervised toddler in it with a bunch of her bath toys, so I passed on the hot tub. However, my room had a bathtub, so I took my own, private "hot" tub.

Very nice people working there. All were friendly and helpful i.e. Front desk and airport shuttle drivers. Room was clean & comfortable.

Convenience of getting to room. Very long way and had to carry luggage down about 5 steps, which may seem petty but I had a very heavy bag. Drains were very slow in tub & sink- I did mention this to front desk at check out. All in all good stay despite these few things.

You get standard accommodations for a reasonable price. This property is older and shows the wear and tear. They serve a hot breakfast which I enjoy.

The light switch when you entered the room didn't work and the room thermostat was tricky to set properly. The room was a sauna when I arrived.

The hotel continues to be a "Best Value" for us, when we visit Bismarck (6 times per year) The hotel is generally cleaner than in past stays. The hallway carpets are cleaner, the elevator walls have been cleaned up, and the hotel rooms are always perfectly cleaned and well-appointed. Breakfast is certainly the premier service in the hotel! The menu is substantive, the quality is excellent, the place is generally clean, and the staff are wonderful.

You need to high-light your pool area more in your marketing. It is an excellent facility that is well-maintained. In the breakfast area, the chairs need to be shampooed. They are objectionably dirty.

The breakfast was excellent. There were many choices such as eggs, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, yogurt, English Muffins, bread. The rooms were very spacious. The location is close to much shopping and the main road.

My room had a musky scent to it and the toilet ran all night. I told the front desk when I checked out about the toilet. I think it would be a nice addition to provide bagels at the breakfast bar. That would be the cherry on top! One other thing. I know it is difficult to police the exterior parking lot, but when I went to park close to my room, an older gentleman was panhandling any guest that walked into the Door 2. I decided to park towards the front and walk a little further so I would not be bothered by him.

The beds are comfortable, the room was spacious and clean without a harsh cleaner smell.

Their breakfast offering was skimpy and the explanation was that their supply truck didn't arrive as scheduled. Hopefully this isn't an indication of a bigger problem.
