The beds were amazing! Super comfortable!

I did not like that there was a damage deposit of $150 due at check in. We were unaware of that. Usually hotels just put your card on file and charge later if necessary. Thankfully the $150 is refundable. I just think that something on the website should say that there is a $150 deposit because some people may not have that readily accessible.

We LOVED LOVED LOVED nightclub Impulse. Fun place and danced alot! Please keep this lounge! Holiday Inn got rid of the wonderful hotel Holiday Inn in Perrysburg, Ohio with the J. Patrick lounge. We were ultimately disappointed at the closure of the lounge and the most beautiful hotel I ever stayed at. We live in Michigan and no hotels here have a lounge so we were excited to be at the Cleveland Holiday Inn Express. What a great experience! We will be back over and over especially if you keep the Impulse Lounge!

Not enough wall outlets near the bed. The bed covered the one we needed for the CPap machine. We literally had to pull the bed out to get to it. 😕

The staff was excellent. The clerk was so nice and helpful it was pleasure to deal with her. The room is what I requested: a king-size bed. The bathroom was good. There are a ton of outlets and usb charging stations in the room. Club impulse right there in the hotel was great. The DJ played great music all night.

Check in between the hotel and booking .com was a little difficult to get the payment over. There was also 150.00 security charge that I had to pay on top on the room rate. They did say it would be refunded in 5 to 7 business days.

We loved the location. We did not eat breakfast. The check-in and out was smooth and was a comfortable stay.

I called ahead and asked to be switched from a king room to a double queen and when we arrived to our room, it was not changed. However, we made it work. Also, I did not like that I paid online ahead and then was charged an additional $150 room deposit upon arrival and still have not been credited back to my card.

Very Clean!!! Several nice restaurants within walking distance!!! We loved the Bonefish Grill & the Bourbon Salmon was absolutely amazing!!! A little pricey, but was worth it! Do yourself a favor & try the warm Brownie with nuts & Vanilla ice cream for dessert!!!

Everyone was Awesome!!!

I was not expecting much when I booked. However, to my surprise, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The location was off the highway and close to downtown Cleveland. The staff was great, the room was very clean, and the full buffet breakfast (not continental) was in the dining room. My grandson and I were traveling through and have stayed at hotels throughout our journey and this one was by far the best.

The in-room coffee pot looks like it has not been cleaned (descaled) in a long time.

The room was clean and cozy. AC was set up to a comfortable temperature, which is a big deal. Unfortunately, I usually walk in to either a muggy room or a super cold one. My children and I had a great weekend here. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival. And we had no issues during our stay. We’ll certainly be back there when we’re in the area.

Loud room neighbors. :) But it’s not the hotel’s fault per se.

The pool was nice. The bed sizes and comfort was good. The breakfast was ok.. The price for the breakfast was a lot for the "just ok" quality of food.

The pull out couch that my girls slept in was way too close to the AC and they froze all night. And the food for breakfast was not worth the price.

We arrived before the 3:00 pm checking and were not allowed to use the swimming pool because we didn’t have a room key yet! We were traveling with our school age grandkids and they were very disappointed. As a result they could only use the pool for 45 minutes before getting changed for dinner. Likewise after we checkout we were not permitted fo use the pool. During our stay there were no other guests using the pool.
