I was very pleasently surprised at how well remodled such an older hotel on the beach was. It felt new and fresh. You could see the age here and there but to me is character and it's ages coming through. Our stay was very comfortable and the staff was very attentive and just a pleasure meet as people. You can tell they really care and work really hard. It's more than a job for them. I can appreciate such little efforts and i appreciated our whole stay. Will definitely recommend and be returning on future trips.

The bed was a tad hard. But that's just a personal preference.

There were dishes in the cupboard we could use then clean up after we were done. The room was super clean and had a bathroom fan and window so it wasn’t stuffy like our previous hotel we stayed at.

Couldn’t see the whole ocean, but that’s ok because it made the really nice room cheeper! Woot! There. Was no continental breakfast which wasn’t a deal breaker because we could have cooked our own on the stove with the pans provided. 140 something. Stairs down to the beach but that’s means we saw more sunset from the top of the stairs

I brought my little dog with me. We travel together, almost everywhere. There is a charge per day for my Molly, which is hard to understand because they don’t clean every day. My Molly does not shed, she has hair like you and I. If they were going to clean every day, then the charge would be reasonable. But if they’re only going to clean after you leave, it seems to me, there shouldn’t be a charge, except for that one of any extra cleaning. That charge per day alone, definitely limits how many nights I can afford to stay.

I would definitely stay there again!! It is an old facility that appears to have been neglected for some years however the folks that are there now are actively upgrading and repairing and remodeling the facility. In spite of the things needing repair the staff were very welcoming and accomodating and friendly!!

The things I didn't like I could overlook because they were being repaired or replaced .

I know people tried very hard to make our room available before 4 pm. There was only one minor overlooked issue...the previous guest left a lot of her hair on the floor underneath the area where your hang your clothes. Otherwise all was perfect! I really appreciated the bed mattress was in great shape which made staying at the Seahorse a wonderful time! Thank you so much?

Great location with ocean views, affordable rates, clean and large room with balcony and one building that has an elevator.

Wasn’t a huge deal but the ice machine was broken. Check-in was 4PM. When I arrived at almost 5PM, they assigned me a room but when I went to the room, they were still cleaning it. Again, not a huge deal as they finished pretty quickly. Would definitely visit again.

While it is a bit rundown, the place was VERY clean, like I wiped it down and the cloth was still clean kind of clean! The carpets were clean too, quite a feat at a sandy beach hotel. The bed was comfortable, I was surprised at how roomy the mini-fridge was, the pool was a great temperature, and the VIEW WOW! It's in a great location just off the main highway but far enough away you don't hear traffic. The beach was fairly private and I didn't hear any other guests despite it being booked up.

Access to the immediate beach is tough with 100+ steep stairs, difficult for small children and anyone with mobility issues. However it only takes 3-5 minutes to drive to very accessible parts of the beach so this wasn't an issue. It was partially a positive too because it kept the noise by our hotel very low! A broom or outside spigot to rinse off sand would be appreciated. The hotel is quite old and in the process of being renovated. Some fresh paint and updated appliances will do wonders, but it was clean, comfortable, and met our needs perfectly. I'm looking forward to returning again and seeing how it's improved!

We loved almost everything about this adorable house!!!clean love the little touches here and there. Loved the full dish sets and cooking accessories! Often rentals have thrown together bits. You have made this a cute fun warm place and it shows!

Just the 1 bathroom is quite small and hard to use.

The view was great and it had a balcony. Room was good size with a big mirror in the living space. The bed was comfortable, overall homey Room. Amber at the front desk was great!

The beach access had a lot of steps. Had to drive to a easier access.

A little too basic, tears in the chair. Furniture beat up no shampoos, soaps, i didn't pack any before leaving home and had to to go the store to buy necessities. No breakfast
