We always like the view

Our fireplace went out. I called Saturday morning and told him we would be gone for the day that we would like to have it working when we got back when we got back. It was never looked at, but when I called the office, whoever was working came up immediately and started it a little upset. It wasn’t done during the day, but was very thankful the gentleman came up right away and got it working for us. Also, when we came in the room, there were a couple large hairballs under the bed kind of gross. We stayed three nights. We were never checked on once my housekeeping to see if we needed anything. We end up Saturday morning, asking for a few more towels and a toilet paper with a lady standing in the hall changing sheets thank you

I just like the feeling of the entire place. It feels cozy yet with a huge beach in front. It is very spacious. I can hear the ocean through the close the sliding glass door or I can open it to get some of the smell of the ocean and of course The gas stove is excellent amenity and the new shower/remodeled bathroom was very nice since my day was for several days, perhaps the next time I’ll ask for a room with a closet or a dresser so I could put on my clothing that I needed for my conference in the room. I needed to text the staff as I was gone during the hours to contact them for things I needed, so I texted them, needing my trash taken out and needing some extra toilet trees and to my surprise the bathroom was tidied and I hadn’t asked that I didn’t Want to make them have more work. So the Sandcastles my place to stay I think I’ve stayed there I don’t know how many times the stairs are getting harder on me as I grow older so I may have to request a floor room next time, but I do enjoy the view from the third floor so Thank you very much.

Well, it really has nothing to do with the property, but it has to do with my arthritis and getting older, the stairs are getting harder to do

We were towing a 14ft boat and were concerned about parking but they responded to my text quickly and assured us they could accommodate parking. All staff were helpful and courteous. We had a ground floor king room and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view was amazing right on the beach. There were two recliner chairs ( which I loved instead of the usual stiff uncomfortable ones) and it was so relaxing to sit and watch the sun go down! Plus just steps to walk on the beach. Great experience would definitely return.

Really nothing. It is an older place which I actually like much better than the cookie cutter hotels but it was clean and comfortable. The only slight complaint was that there were no paper towels in the kitchen area but it seems very inconsequential…..

Everything! My kids and I had the double queen bed room, which had a mini kitchen with a full fridge, stove, and kitchen utensils! We had a primo view of the ocean and the stunning beach was nearly steps away! The beds were very comfortable and the bathtub was nice and deep, allowing this single mother the chance to get a good soak in while there!

My only drawback would be the parking lot, which is very small and harder to navigate if you have a wider or more boxy vehicle, but my kids and I will definitely stay at the Sandcastle again!!

Location is primary reason for continued return visits. The remodel of the building was a nice surprise! Still no elevator but I need the exercise. The bathroom was awesome; I want the mirror in my home. I spilt liquid on my bed and was provided a new set of sheets upon asking.

No security lock on door. Absence of an elevator ( but I also like that there isn’t an elevator!). The bed wasn’t too comfortable and I would have appreciated another blanket. One suggestion would be to provide side table lamp so one wouldn’t have to get out of bed to turn off the light.

We loved everything else about this experience. The rocks down by the beach had plenty of shells and sea creatures. Recommend going during a negative tide. The view from the rooms exceptional. We had so much fun. The food around the city is fantastic. The staff is super friendly. Would recommend coming here. The fireplace was wonderful. The shower and the mirror in the bathroom are so fancy. I loved it, and so did my husband.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as it could be. Both of us had a little trouble sleeping. The pillows are too soft.

Bed was a bit too firm for me . The neighbors either above or next door were noisy . Possibly a child running and thumping . Please give us space from each other especially when the place is nearly empty .

The room was clean, the shower was great and the view from our third floor balcony was breathtaking! The price we got for 4 nights was great as well! This is a hotel we will definitely come back and stay at!

The bed was a little too firm for our liking and the mirror across from it threw us off a bit. While we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony it would be nice to have some type of privacy boards separating you from the other rooms if you have neighbors so you're not bothered

Oceanfront view to wake up to in the morning. You can hear the ocean at night for some ASMR sounds to lull you to sleep if you wish! Fireplace to make the room warm and cozy was a nice touch. Room was quiet, I didn't hear much from my neighbors. The bathroom and room was very clean. Staff was very nice and friendly. I didn't have a chance to use the pool and hot tub as I just allocated a night's stay, but I think it would have been a nice touch! The owner is very friendly and tries to do his best to accommodate. Thanks for the lovely stay in this peaceful and wonderful location!

Nothing. There are stairs to the rooms upstairs, no elevator.

I love the no pet policy. (Service animals are allowed). I don't have pets and I like to have the choice to stay in a motel without worrying I'm going to step in a pile, or find dog or cat hair in my clothing or bedding. The balcony, just big enough for two chairs. We enjoyed watching as the tide was going out and coming in. Beach access is easy to find with just a few stair steps down to the beach. Lovely. Nice and quiet, just the way we like it.
