Location....the picture window in our room overlooked the beach. Lovely to sit on comfortable chairs and watch the waves. Also hotel access to the beach. Walkable to restaurants. Breakfast was quite good. Would recommend.

The View was incredible, the staff were exceptional, the continental breakfast was great with a decent variety, and the facilities overall could have been a little cleaner, but I would not describe anything as "dirty", there were just some things like behind the TV stands and beds and little tight corners where you could tell things have gathered over time as they don't quite get attention but this is also not a facility I would expect those things to be that clean at. Pool hot tub and sauna were all very nice and clean and the beach access was excellent but not accessible for any people with issues climbing lots of stairs (~70 iirc)

The room I received wasn't exactly what was advertised here in the app. I would be sure that when you're seeing pictures of rooms with bathtubs and views when you're booking and you're thinking that's the room you're going to get that you confirm with the hotel after you've booked.

The location was amazing you can walk right down to the beach (it is a steep walk for anyone needing to be prepared), the room had a great view of the ocean and it was so nice to see and hear the ocean right from our room. Being able to bring our dog and his cute doggie welcome bag was definitely a bonus! Nice selection on breakfast. Overall great stay and we will be back again!

Beverages up in the front lobby were a little overpriced. It would also be nice to have the option to leave our dog unattended in a kennel and only a charge a penalty fee for people who don’t follow that and have destructive dogs. The steps to the beach with the rocks steps near the stop are a little slippery.

i absolutely LOVED waking up to the ocean view and falling asleep to the sound of the waves and fresh breeze and i loved how we can’t open the windows fully it made me feel more safe. And the pool was AMAZING i was able to swim back and forth in laps and live out my mermaid fantasy by the ocean. Me and my partner went here for our two year anniversary and we are most definitely coming back for more occasions. The free breakfast was amazing as well, a great way to save money but also be satisfied. Leticia was amazing and was quick on stocking up items that were getting low. Their mini gift shop also had a great selection that was not overwhelming! The location is great as well, very close to the outlets, the main beach entrance, convenience stores, and a great affordable gift shop for souvenirs.

Amazing views from our spacious comfortable room with good storage, hooks, drawers. The windows open so you can sleep to the sound of the waves. The tea kettle was great and used all day. Excellent breakfast with great variety and FRESH fruit every day! Very clean pool, hot tub and sauna. Friendly helpful staff. Relatively quiet although we could hear walking on our ceiling. Good parking. Quiet safe area. Super cute lobby decor with fireplace. Courtyard and deck were also great areas to hang out.

The stairs to the beach were kinda of wonky and steep. No foot wash. Bed was ok, not best or worst. Nothing to watch on TV. Cable went out while we were there. Not their fault but it happened. Maybe not the best if you have any mobility issues due to the number of stairs, no elevator.

The rooms were very clean and well stocked. There was a lot of activities to keep our almost 6 year old and the grown ups busy. Our favorites were the pool and hot tub. My husband especially enjoyed the fresh ground coffee and french press in the room. The contential breakfast was excellent. The lady working the kitchen made sure everything was well stocked and warm. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. I also thought it was great of them to have the pool open until 9pm for kids and 9pm-11pm strictly for adults. Very thoughtful. The view from our private balcony was my personal favorite. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return!

The best hotel on our long road trip was the last one - the Surfland Hotel! We arrived quite late, were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff. All rooms have a beautiful ocean view. Beds were really comfy, rooms spacious and clean. Great direct beach access! Really good value, beat much more expensive hotels on our trip Access to pool with sauna and hot tub included. Great breakfast with cold and warm meals. The hotel also offers some nice additional serviced (free ice water and cookies, local craft beer and wine at fair prices etc) We loved it!

The location and view was amazing, the sound of the ocean was lovely, the fireplace was warm, and it made the room inviting. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was a selection of pillows. We swam in the refreshing pool and relaxed in the hot tub and sauna. There rooms had great sound proofing and were extremely clean. There are cute design choices that make the room inviting: chic lamps, marble occasional table, art selections, the paint features behind the beds, jacket hooks, and the “kitchen” area with microwave, fridge, Bodum, and shelves were well thought out. The morning coffee tasted local & small batch. There was a drop dead gorgeous ocean-view deck with loungers. The 50 or so steps down to the beach had a few small viewing platforms great for photos or resting. The continental breakfast space was in a separate unit with corner ocean views and it was zen to have a juice, coffee with almond milk, and waffles with fresh berries while watching the waves roar in. The was quite a selection of breakfast items (bagels, muffins, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages, toast, English muffins, cereal, yogurt) so I think most people could find what they prefer. The hotel desk staff were personable, kind, and helpful, and the lobby had lemon water ready to enjoy after driving. The luggage carts were a bonus to haul the family items in and parking was simple. The view was indescribable!! It looked like a picture when you walked into the room but it was a wall of windows and it was the most spectacular view of the ocean! Bed was comfortable and chairs by the window were great. Barstools were a nice extra for the counter. Everything was clean. Loved the walkway down to the beach. Front desk staff was always friendly and the entire grounds and areas were clean.

Breakfast was so-so. Not great but got you started in the morning. Attendant was very friendly and the space was clean. TV with news on was good.

Location right on the beach; however, in order to get to the beach you had to go down on many stairs, or drive a couple of miles to an easy access area to the beach. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna were pleasant. The room had large windows facing the beach and we were able to watch the sunset.

The place is over-priced for the type and condition of the property, size of the room, quality of the breakfast. Breakfast offered several choices, but all of low quality, except for the coffee which was good.
