I recently stayed at Tru by Hilton in Grantville, PA and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful—they really made the stay feel personal. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The lobby had a bright, open feel with plenty of space to relax or get some work done. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was a huge plus—plenty of options, fresh, and perfect to start the day. Parking was easy, and the location is super convenient whether you’re headed to Hershey, Harrisburg, or just passing through. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff truly made the difference, and the property itself is top-notch. I’ll definitely be staying here again when I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

One small note—Tru by Hilton rooms are more compact by design. It’s not a negative about the hotel itself, just a matter of personal preference. I usually prefer the Home2 Suites style that has a little more space and a sofa to sit on. But if you don’t mind a more streamlined setup, this place is perfect.

We traveled to Hershey Park for a two day stay and stayed at Tru for the 1st time. We chose the hotel due to it's reasonable distance to the park. Our check in time was 3pm, we arrived at 245 & were given the key to a room that was not made up from the last guest. It was quickly corrected & we were given another room within a 10 minute wait. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great to start our day with and the lobby and gathering areas were super clean. We will be back.

I did like that the location was convenient to the highway plus shopping areas as well. The distance was good for my families home location. The complementary breakfast section was really good and while maintained by staff plus the 24/7 accessible cafe/tea stand made it all worthwhile for me personally.

I did not like that there was no closet space plus not enough overall room space to move around without bumping into each other. For a person traveling alone that is perfect room space but more than 1 person in a room needs much more space.

beautiful looking rooms/style. loved the ice machine and water refill station and free breakfast with 12 pm checkout.

The shower could be a little bit larger and heat up faster. The rubber seal on the shower door was peeled off towards the bottom so water would leak when taking a shower. The shower door itself also wasn’t high enough so water would also spill outside of the shower too. Maybe different shower head and better leak protection. two more large towels would also be nice. two for arrival and two for the morning shower

It was exactly as expected, this isn't the Ritz Carlton. The staff was friendly and timely, the room was clean, all you could need with a place to just rest your head.

I usually like the all-american basic free breakfast at Best Western - esque hotels, but this was the first time it was a real disappointment. Automatic pancake maker (no classic make your own waffle) was cool concept but cooked it WAYYY under and no option to cook the pancake for longer. Oatmeal was clumped and therefore uncooked, I just left and hit the road

Close and convenient location to Hershey park. Immediately walking into the lobby of the hotel, it has a really great and friendly look and there was some there who greeted you with a friendly and welcoming smile. He checked you right now, gave you your keys, let u know about breakfast and off you went. The rooms were extreme clean, smelled great, amazing bathroom products. The AC unit was a little loud but really worked really well.

The breakfast selection could of been a bit better. The juice selection was great and the oatmeal selection with toppings was nice as well but other than that there was really nothing that looked very good. A few more options would of been a welcome sight but nothing that was a deal breaker

The welcome display in the tv w my name was a pleasant touch soon entering. Shower pressure was nice and the bed was THHEEE ABSOLUTE VERY BEST BED I HAVE EVER SLEPT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!

While the breakfast was good w many opinions I did feel the SIZE of their setup compared to the number of guest wasn’t very big. There was a lot of long line waiting bc of too much demand and not enough supply. And while I’m sure she was working hard, the person working the breakfast station didn’t seem to have much sense of urgency during the already busy overcrowded breakfast hours so in the future I would make sure to get there early enough to make sure I get a good shot at breakfast choices.

We loved how clean and modern the whole property felt! The pool was a huge hit with the kids—perfect for unwinding after a long day. Everything was well-kept, and the vibe was fun and family-friendly.

The only downside was the limited food options nearby—it was a bit tough to find a variety of restaurants close to the hotel. Definitely not the hotel’s fault, just something to plan ahead for if you’re arriving hungry!

Very clean and friendly staff.

We had called ahead of time to make sure the 3 rooms we booked in advance would be next to each other, but they only put two rooms next to each other and one of our rooms was on a completely different floor. They said they couldn’t change it because it was booked under a 3rd party which was pretty dumb. Other than that our experience was great. It would have been better if we were all at least on the same floor.

Everything about the facility was great

I don’t like our room not being serviced everyday. Even if it’s sweeping the floor. I also explained to the staff that I needed new towels and rags the next day. They promised they would bring them up to me and never did. We waited 2 hours until eventually my mom arrived to the hotel and had to get them for me and my children.
