We were very happy with the clean, spacious, comfortable room, and as our visit coincided with a flood throughout the city, we felt assured that we would be able to access coffee and lunch without needing to somehow "escape". The facilities were excellent, including a well-resourced fitness center and a pleasant lobby area. We would stay here again.

The property is a little further from the main downtown area than we'd realized, although the walk is not prohibitively long if you like walking (in what is a generally walkable city).

The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Loved the rooftop area.

During our stay the pool was not available for the first 3 days and that was very disappointing as I had specifically looked for hotels with pools. The reception staff were very good and helpful except for one individual who was not helpful at all.

Good bed, shower, restaurant, bar, conference rooms.

In the morning workers where walking by my room windows (2nd floor room 207) because there where works to the room above me. That made terrible annoying noices. The reception did not want to help me with it. Overall I found the price quality poor.

The property was clean, right across the street from a grocery store and staffed with helpful and friendly people. I had a DELICIOUS burger in the restaurant after my half marathon.

The property plays music all night in the outdoor terrace area with the pool loudly enough that it was hard to get and stay asleep. They DEFINITELY need to institute quiet hours - say 10:00 pm to 7:00 am during which the music is turned OFF. I really couldn’t believe that a hotel would play the music all night at that volume. I even mentioned it to the gentlemen at the front desk the next morning. He agreed with my sentiment and said he would ask that it at least be turned down that night.

The Marriot Charleston was a delightful experience. Even though my stay was only a few days, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Centrally located in Charleston, it offers all the amenities one could desire in a hotel. The bar was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and professional, with excellent English proficiency. I'll definitely choose it again.

We had coffee and muffins/fruit for breakfast. Can’t comment on full breakfast. Ladies working the coffee bar we very polite and greeted you with a smile, same goes for the bar tender in bar area and everyone working the check in desk.

I wish you would offer a discount cost across the board to guest that are 65 and older, on hotel cost, meals, drinks and items purchased.

Breakfast was wonderful and the wait staff very friendly. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Overall the property is lovely and I will stay there again - my daughter lives just around the corner.

Unfortunately, the battery of the door of the room died off and we need to wait around 30 minutes to get fixed

I love that we could manage the temperature of the room. It was spacious and clean.

The shampoo bottles are on the wall like 6 feet up, if you’re short, there’s no way you will reach that pump without a step. The room service menu is not great.

Location was good for us. We chose to be a little bit from the centre and pay for an Uber. This saved us nearly 50% on my ther more central hotel options.

The coffee at the Starbucks was pretty awful. You go there expecting to get a level of quality that you would expect across the globe. We’ll not here !
