A great location on King Street, which has a lot of restaurants and bars and is not far from the French Quarter and other tourist spots of the Historic District. They also have their own rooftop beer bar, gym, and indoor pool. I stayed in one of the rooms with a kitchen, which was comfortable. And great that they also give 2 free bottled waters each day.

The parking situation is a mess and seems like a big, successful global hotel company like the Hyatt should take ownership of the situation instead of the current hands-off approach in which the valets out front are declared independent and external. There is nobody to greet you, nobody to help with your luggage, and nobody to explain the parking situation. Not good, Hyatt. The other big negative: free breakfast buffet was subpar in quality and there were barely enough tables and chairs for everyone to sit at.

The suite was lovely, the fitness centre was a little small, but better stocked than most hotel gyms. The location is of course near pefect. Also the lifts here are great, really fast. I've stayed in a lot of hotels recently and many of them have slow lifts that keep you waiting for ages, not so here.

The breakfast wasn't as good as i was expecting. As for the expensive car parking, the lady at reception told me they have no influence over the price and don't run or control the car park next door, so you either pay the $47 per day (midnight to mid day) fee and take the trade off of convenience or saving some cash and walking from futher away with your luggage.

The room was spacious. It was more like a suite, with living room and kitchenette although we didn’t need or use it.

Though it is referred to as Historic District it really is outside of the district far enough that walking to the historic district was not practical. Overall the cost of parking was ridiculous. Between the hotel parking fee, tipping the valet, and then paying again everywhere we went in town it added over $80 per day to the visit.

Our original room had damages to room and furniture as well as poor view of a brick wall. I informed the Assistant Manager Ms. Coakley of our concerns and she upgraded our room to a suite with city views! The room was amazing. Great customer service from management! We enjoyed our getaway.

Front desk staff have poor/ no customer service. Not really helpful or concerned to resolve problems.

Great location. Staff was friendly. Valet was super easy. Nice continental breakfast and coffee & water bottles were always available. Super convenient.

Our only main complaint was that our toilet wasn’t working properly. Couldn’t get it to flush and ran a lot. We called maintenance, but it took a little time we didn’t had, so I actually somewhat fixed it and we were good after that.

Everything was amazing from check in to the room.

The rooftop bar gets overcrowded by normal people off the street so much that the guest can't even order a drink. Maybe consider an hour for guest only? If your going to promote it as a MAJOR ATTRACTION for the hotel guest like myself would like the chance to try to enjoy it.

We had a great stay at this hotel! We were lucky to get a corner room that had lots of windows no hallway traffic (we only heard people occasionally when they were getting ice across the hall from us). It was so nice having almost a studio apartment for the room, and we always came back to a freshly made bed and clean bathroom after spending the day out. The toiletries in the bathroom were great as well.

We didn't know about the complimentary water bottles until almost the end of the stay, so it would have been nice if we were offered those when we arrived (but that was minor).

The people that work in that hotel were amazing truly exceptional. Plus it was a very central location for what we wanted to do. Didn't drive more than 10 minutes anywhere. Naquan was an amazing person who checked us in and helped us all the time. Great man.

Well the parking although convenient cost too much. That sucked added $100 to our 3 night stay. The pool was cold. My kids turn blue. And bed was to soft for me cause of back surgery.

It was in the center of everything perfect location, it was clean, 2 free bottles of water a day was a nice touch. They have two bars, one in lobby and a rooftop bar that sales beer by the ounce., it gets super crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.

Front desk staff not very friendly nor helpful. They serve the same breakfast everyday, throw some pancakes or potatoes, turkey sausage or omelets in there for a change, would be nice. Pillows were terrible too soft and the air conditioner was too loud.

That they accommodated our request to change our first room(which was quite small) for a more spacious one! The breakfast area was large with lot of seating and a good variety of breakfast items to choose from.

No outdoor pool.
