This was the absolute perfect location for our group! Around the corner from the best part of King st! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious with comfy beds!
The room was nice but a bit on the dirty side. The shower head wasn’t great and there was a frequent terrible smell in the bathroom as well. We were told it was from a paper mill near by.

The location was great. We could walk to everything.
The room rate was a little high for the room. The bathroom was dark, it needed better lighting.

I like the huge lobby. They have some cool furniture. The front desk employees were great. Any question I had about anything they figured it out for me and were happy to help. I liked the room, it was just right. So my wife and I went down stairs to the bar! We had the bar to ourselves that night. Kiera the bartender that evening. She was the greatest. We had such a fun time hanging out with her. The next day it rained so we just ordered a pizza and relaxed in the room. I liked that it had a desk. Everyone was super friendly. The next night we needed a couple trash bags, tp, they we down the hall and made an extra trip for. She was the other one in the restaurant and bar. She was a huge help. Perfect distance to the store. There is one thing I didn’t like at all! Parking! I’ve paid to park before but $35 a day. It costs us $105 Those prices are so expensive that it can cost up to the amount of another room. But that was the only part I didn’t like.
PARKING PRICES.

Great last minute stay in modern hotel located near famous King Street. Was a Marriott. Spacious room & great king bed with tiny balcony ( not needed ) no view ( not needed ). Valet parking charge of US$35 overnight. Staff made this stage memorable - very helpful especially front desk receptionist Zhane who helped a couple of times with charging issues with phone & electric toothbrush using international chargers. The bar there offers a happy hour cocktail for US$7 plus tips etc - great drink and bartender.
The breakfast staff were pleasant but the food on offer was extremely sweet with few healthy choices. Available though - Greek yogurt with berries, some cut up fresh fruit, bread, scrambled eggs and grits. There was a waffle maker available.

The hotel was convenient and within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Tons of shops and restaurants on nearby King Street. A little further walking distance, and you can make it to the French Quarter and the bay area. The room was a good size and the balcony was a nice addition. Bed was comfortable and they provided plenty of pillows. AC worked very well on the 107 degree heat index days. The pool was very nice as well. We were able to enjoy an hour relaxing in the cool waters one hot afternoon. Hotel staff were always kind and friendly.
Parking was annoying. The only option was valet, or a broken parking meter that you were only allowed to stay at for 2 hours, but no way to pay that meter. Valet was relatively quick, but there were always 2 or 3 people trying to pick up their car at any given time and usually only 1 valet person working. The only other issue we had was finding globs of someone elses hair in the shower and spread out throughout the bathroom. The room also had a funky smell. We sprayed it multiple times but every time we came back in from outside the funky smell was back.

The style and atmosphere of the hotel, particularly the lounge area, provided a unique experience. The hallway decor was also bright and welcoming.
The way the entrance is positioned was difficult to find and navigate for parking. Even with this shortcoming, the valet staff were pleasant, experienced, and friendly. There didn’t appear to have a self-parking area and forced arrivals to utilize valet parking at an added expense.

The hotel was very clean and the Bed was very comfortable. The location was in a good area, but seems just North of the hotel got a little sketchy. Staff was nice including the Valet staff. Excellent service throughout our stay.
Only thing I didn't like is the construction to the North seemed to make the area look bad. Every other direction from the hotel was great.
