The location was great, easy to get to and there was a Perkins just across the street so we could walk over for breakfast. The room was very clean and the front desk staff was friendly.

The bed was a bit too firm but not terrible. The ice machine was located in the swimming pool area instead of having one on each floor. There was no elevator to get to the second floor, which could be difficult for some. Also, but not an issue with the hotel itself, sleeping in was difficult during this stay. There was a motorcycle running in the parking lot, which we faced, and there was a young child running and screaming out in the hallway each morning. None of this would prevent me from staying here again. It was a nice room at reasonable price.

We were only staying one night here and we were incredibly happy with the room and hotel. It's a smaller, well kept up hotel. It felt cheery and bright and clean throughout everything. The beds were so soft it felt wonderful to sleep on them. Their hottub was wonderfully hot and the pool was very warm, making it so comfortable to swim around as well. The area was also all windows so it felt so sunny and bright in there. One unexpected pleasure that we liked, there were no coffee machines in the room but instead they had a 24/7 nice coffee machine with flavors that you could get iced or hot and regular or decaf. We really liked that machine... it was so convenient and made wonderful coffee. For us this was a definite positive. Additionally, the refrigerator had an actual freezer in top, which I've never got in a room before but it was so helpful to have that actual freezer part. A lovely little hotel and we will be coming again next fall when we visit.

I have no complaints... it was a little more than we usually spend at a travel lodge, but still better deal then almost anything else... Spearfish in general was a little pricey.

That breakfast was OK. They advertised it as a hot breakfast and it was with scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. Nothing fantastic, but certainly filling in nutritious. The breakfast area was very centrally located and easy to get to.

There was not a lot of staff available. I suspect that they were spread very thin. We had to wait several minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check us out when we left. The staff person who checked us in was excellent, however, since she was very friendly and gave us a great deal of information about things to do in Spearfish.

We stayed for three nights. On the first day, we went for breakfast at 8:30 am and found only one biscuit, a small serving of gravy, and the eggs were nearly finished — not sufficient for us. The next day, around 8:15 am, there were no biscuits left to accompany the small amount of gravy. However, on the third morning, we arrived at 6:15 am and there was plenty of food. It was disappointing that we had to seek breakfast elsewhere on the first two mornings. need more food for breakfast, such as sausage and maybe bacon along with what was there. didn't feel like we shouldn't have to ask for refills, cause the staff was not busy.

Was very clean and people working working there were so nice

No elevator for my husband so a little hard getting our suitcase upstairs. But we managed! Check in was not very good since someone got the room that we were supposed to have. One room left and it was a king and had a pullout sofa/bed so our son could spend one night with us! So all in all it was fine!!

The staff was so nice and welcoming and this was the most cleanliness hotel I have stayed at in a long time you can clearly see everyone takes pride in keeping everything so clean. Last the pool area was amazing heated pool was perfect and hot tub was nice and hot and super clean like everywhere else on the property! We are coming back! Thank you for the thanksgiving stay!

Not a thing perfect stay!

It was very quiet. Conveniently located. Friendly staff.

I spent six nights, and no one came in to clean my room. Not even to take out the trash. Could've been better in that regard, but overall it was okay.

Layout of rooms. Ease of access for guests who arrived later. Ability to control heat and allow the fan to run all night.

The shower is a bit outdated. The faucet was loose. The shower head was hard to adjust. The knob on the shower was very loose. The knob to adjust the water temperature was very loose.

As soon as you entered the building you were overcome with the smell of chlorine from the pool. I thought we would smell it in our room but the room did not have a bad smell. The front desk lady was sitting at a table talking to someone and didnt even bother to get up when we first came in even thou she saw us. She was not very welcoming.

Good price and very clean. No elevator but not a bad climb on the stairs. Staff very nice . Located next to Perkins restaurant for breakfast or another meal. Good grab n go breakfast and coffee

Disappointed the hot tub was only clean to use one day. After a problem . Not sure they completely drained and refilled.
