This booking was last min. My husband and I decided to drive up the night before our trip to Rock City Gardens. I booked our room on the way there and when we got there check in went smoothly. The staff and the security were very nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was amazing. Restaurants were close by... (you have to try the Blue Moose.. it is right across the street.) so you don't have to search or travel far for good eats. The breakfast was great. They had toast and bagels, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, waffles, and cereal... Coffee, Hot Teas, Juice and Water. (There are soft drinks for purchase in the lobby if you'd rather have that option)

Contention Breakfast was skimpy no matter if we went early or later. Items were scarce and not pancake batter or syrup any day. The items there were cheap brands that tasted horrible

Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help accommodate me with a handicap traveler I had needing handicap accommodations at the last minute. The breakfast was nice and tasted great with a good variety of items.

My only complaint is the only handicap room available only had 1 king bed, so we stayed in the already booked room. I was unaware of the condition my mother-in-law was in or I would have booked a handicap room to begin with. The staff looked for the 1 shower chair the property owns to help me bath my mother-in-law easier, but they were unable to locate it so my only suggestion is to maybe have more available to guests that need it.

Susan checked us in and was so bubbly and very helpful and full of information for what to do around town. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. Parking was free and could have our car just in front of our room. There were restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included at the property and had a variety. A lovely comfortable lounge in the room also.

We were about a 20 minute drive from the city. So a little further than we would’ve liked,however if you have a car it isn’t a problem to get around town and the parking in the city itself is no more than 10 dollars for the day.

It was cheap without being an awful experience The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs The breakfast was better than expected The showers were great The pool was kept up well and was a decent size We did have a fault in our room where one of the outlets didn't work and their maintenance department handled it so be assured that if there's a problem they'll get it fixed.

Our room had a little bit of a cigarette odor, but it was explicitly stated in our reservation that the room we reserved was a smoking room so I don't want to hold that against them and I want to emphasize it was so slight that we only barely smelled it and became entirely noseblind to it in only a few minutes. The rooms could use slightly larger trash cans. The showers need a shelf or something to hold any soaps or shampoos that people bring

I like that we could bring our dog for an extra fee of $25. The place is spacious, the price is cheap and it's near all our favorite stores. I like that there is a little freezer in the fridge. The shower 🚿 is nice too.

The floors were kinda dirty. They really needed a deep cleaning. The fridge was sorta old and banged up. They could use an extra 🗑️ trash bin by the bathroom. The lights by the bed are very bright. There was another light by the window but it did not work and I think that would have been much better lighting.

The guy working at the front desk was very helpful. Room was super clean and smelled amazing. The water pressure for the shower? Phenomenal. All the toiletries you really need are provided in the event you forget your own or need extras. AC was cold. TV worked just fine. The updated room was really cute and modern. Location and parking were fine. Breakfast was pretty typical but no complaints.

Staying on the ground floor by the pool proved to be pretty noisy as obviously lots of kids were playing and people were there chatting and such, right near our room. Not a deal breaker, though. The bed was pretty uncomfortable (IMO). I’ve slept in worse but I’ve slept in much better, too. My main “concern” was not having the latch-type lock inside the room that you flip towards the top of the door. It would have just given more peace of mind.

Recently renovated, bathroom layout was improved over original design. Blackout curtain was very effective. Did not hear a lot of noise from other rooms.

No shelf in shower to put toiletries (sorry, didn't use the wall-mounted ones provided, we brought our own.) Only one tiny trashcan provided. Light switch by the door didn't seem to do anything (corner lamp didn't work) so we had to walk across the room to turn on a light.

I was pleasantly surprised at the value of this hotel. It is in an area overrun with hotels at much higher prices. It is an old converted La Quinta. The room was exceptionally clean and updated. The pool is in great shape. The breakfast is average for this type of room. There is a nice sports bar nearby,

Finding hotel was a little difficult since it is tucked in behind another hotel but this was a minor problem.

It was a nice stay. Staff were superb. The rooms were nice and the bathroom was extremely nice. I was glad it was a shower instead of tub. Beds were firm rooms were clean.

It is listed as a HOTEL but it’s a MOTEL that was surprising to me . Wasn’t expecting that. Other guests were extremely loud all times of the night and early morning . In the room above me, the guest walked hard and did so all night long. The ice bucket is small. Main issue I had were the guests were inconsiderate of others by being loud, kids knocking on your door and running.
