The bed are comfy and the location is great. This is a location within walking distance of downtown but without all the extra amenities for those who want to stay inside. While visiting we spend 90% of our time out of the hotel.

Lower water pressure and less hot water than desired. It is the slow season for the area so we figured it was turned down some.

This is the third time we have stayed at this quirky little hotel. It's an odd place, set high on a mountain, looking down over Gatlinburg (hence the name, I guess). It's not like any other hotel I've ever stayed in. We love the price and the "family room" with bunk beds and a king. We love that it's in the middle of everything. We love that it's not a cookie cutter replica of every other place. They have done some upgrades (paint and carpet). We will always stay here in Gatlinburg.

The oddness includes the fact that there is no office to check in. You get a code and that's great. There's a kitchen and community room. But it makes it a little difficult if you need room service. The first night there was no heat in one of our rooms and the maid and maintenance people came immediately and fixed it. The next morning I requested more towels and nobody ever came.

Location was absolutely beautiful, scenery awesome, community kitchen was genius and so beneficial since we traveled on Christmas and nothing was open. The bed was super comfy and facilities were clean, really appreciated the well folded and neat towels and extra hand towels, I almost wanted to stay for an extra night just because it was such a well stocked and beautiful room

The parking situation could have been better explained, and the punching in to rooms could be good for introverts but I missed getting greeted at a counter and getting things explained. It may not be good for people afraid of heights since you're on a cliff and it is kind of nerve wracking to walk to your room along a slippery floor

How close it was to downtown

parking, we have a large truck and parking was a bit difficult. Our room was extremely humid the entire time. like it made our clothes and bed damp. it wasn’t a big issue, it wasn’t like our stuff was wet or uncomfortable, just made clothes wrinkled and the bed feel damp. and it was warmer in the room with the cool air on than it was outside in 50 degrees.

the room had everything we needed, with microwave and a fridge. We didn’t need to use but the community kitchen is very good, and also the community room is very useful with a pool table, tv, and even a guitar. Definetely a great place to stay

nothing to complain

Welcome text is self explanatory n guides you to access your room n kitchen with no contact. There is fridge n Microwave inside the room. Rooms are presented clean at check in ! Location - It is a mile uphill from the main strip. Best part is the bus (blue trolley) that runs continuously has a stop in front of this hotel. So, you can park at hotel n time your pickup n drop via this trolley.

Responsiveness - Incase something goes missing in your room or if you need anything, the contact number may get unresponsive.

Location was great, room was very spacious! They r doing remodels but things were quiet!

No WiFi but they did have direct tv so the kids still had numerous things to watch! Check in was a little odd they have no check in desk u have to call a number to get your room and passcode but the lady we talked to was very friendly and got us in our room quickly!

I loved the fact that they have a community kitchen to cook in if you wanted to stay in or use an oven to reheat leftovers. They were kind enough to let us check in early so that we could get started exploring and our room was extremely nice and we'll stocked. We would definitely stay again!💚

The only things that I thought could improve was the ice machine in the kitchen needed to be bigger and they need a conditioner and a lotion to go with the shampoo. I did not pack any since I was expecting them to provide them. That was my fault. I found it extremely hard to find something to dislike about my experience!

This is the second time we have stayed there. It's always clean and well put together in the rooms we are provided. Great location for downtown. The price is very reasonable.

The hot water once again didn't work very well. We mostly took cool showers. The hot water wasn't working the first time we stayed there back in July either. But I thought they would have fixed it already. But I guess not.
