Me and some colleagues stayed for a wildlife filmmaking trip and the staff greeted us with open arms even with us all being 18. Everything worked well and was honestly better than expected. We are very greatful for the owner and we loved the location, it was just off the strip and made easy access to the tourist area and the national park and forests! The location was impeccable and the price was unbeatable. They had a full size fridge and everything worked and the stay was very comfortable! Absolutely will be back soon!

The carpets were dirty (white socks turned brown) and it had a mildew smell but honestly when you are right next to the national parks and forest you can’t expect otherwise especially for such a great price!

It was such a nice little stay for the price, with very welcoming staff of whom which were all eager to help us in any way necessary! Being a tourist we had lots of questions 🤗 🐻🐣🐮Thanks Country Town N’ Suites! 🥰♥️🌄🚠 **************************************************** —- the manager has spoken with my husband & has supposedly refunded the $75 fee to our account —- 🚭 my husband is a smoker - and although he went out onto the balcony to smoke *every single time*, we were somehow charged a $75 fee for smoking in the room. My husband made sure to go out of his way to be respectful and obey the non-smoking rule, although it was inconvenient to him, and he did not receive any type of acknowledgment for being so considerate but was instead charged for it!

Location was excellent. The room is big, clean and has everything you need. No bugs. A good value for the price. Nice hot water. Loved the recliner because it was comfortable and laid all the way back. Check in and out was super easy. Loved the full size refrigerator.

The door didn't lock properly. In room coffee ingredients were old, so had to go out and buy some. Some attention needs to be placed on the outside of the hotel. When I pulled up it looked so ran down and unkept, I almost just decided to leave and forfeit the room I already paid for and go somewhere else. But, I looked in the room and was surprised by how nice it was.

Location was at the end of the tourist part of town, but still within walking distance. No transportation was needed to explore much of what the city had to offer. Trolley stop was right at the hotel parking lot, too

Room was clean, but you could definitely see the repair work that had been done previously. That made the room look older and less clean than it actually was. For example, outlets were not screwed all the way in place, so they would shift when plugging in the in-room coffee maker. Drywall repairs were not smooth and were very visible. Overall, the room was clean, no leaks, no dirt, no loud neighbors, no weird smells in the room, etc.

The location was really nice. Room was nice just a little dated, but the price was great! When we checked in they warned us about bears and they did not disappoint 😊. We saw 2 bears while at the pool and when leaving the hotel. Speaking of the pool area it was nice and clean.

Our room was in the second floor and the ramp was a little rough especially for us older folks😂. And we were close to the road and traffic was loud. But the hotel couldn’t help that.

Country Town N' Suites were a godsend. They helped us exceptionally after a rough nite with another hotel. The desk staff was extremely helpful; the room upgrade they gave us was perfect, and the room was clean, huge, and very comfortable. It had a wonderful balcony overlooking the river. It was a very peaceful stay. It was totally worth the price, which was not expensive at all. It was a short walk to the parkway. The pool was very clean and relaxing. I do not know why anyone would stay anywhere else. This will be our favorite and our always place to stay in Gatlinburg. We live in Knoxville, and we will be telling everyone we know about Country Town N' Suites/ Carr Cottages. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Staff was friendly, we encountered a problem with the room when we first arrived. Staff was great. They switched our room and it was good.

The bathroom door was messed up and wouldn't stay open, so the bathroom was really hot unless you propped it open to alow air to get in there. There was some weird looking read stuff smeared on the bathroom door, but thankfully I carry clorox wipes in my car and it wiped off.

Price was affordable. It was clean and comfortable. Will definitely book here again. I really liked the keyless entry, I didn’t have to worry about losing my room key or it not working properly. Keypad was a nice touch! The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

My only complaints are the paper thin walls. I would have liked a removable shower head and grab bars in the shower but that didn’t affect my rating at all. I’ll bring suction cup bars with me next time

perfect location for us. just outside of the craziness of the city, but on the trolley route. parking is pricey in town, so use the trolley. (it's free!) the visitor center for the park is 15 min away. can walk to several restaurants and attractions if you don't want to wait for the trolley. a nice sized refrigerator in the room was handy. bed was large. shower was hot with plenty of pressure. room was good sized. free coffee in the room and in the lobby. all of the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. air conditioning was quiet.

Staff was nice when we checked in, the 2nd room was good except the bathroom was super small and could use a update.

First room we checked into had a big glob of hair in the tub, there was hair on the bed and nasty spots on the comforter.
