The Oliver Hotel was such a great place to stay in Knoxville. It has a great location, was clean and had a lot of charm. The decor and art work was adorable. The front desk person Chris was so helpful and responsive and gave us great suggestions where to eat and where to go in walking distance. He recommended the Oliver Royale restaurant attached to the hotel and it was so good we ate there both nights of our stay. He also recommended the attached Speakeasy bar, which was fun.

There were no negatives. A grab bar in the bathtub would be helpful for safety.

We enjoyed staying at this unique boutique hotel while visiting our son at UTK. The staff is attentive and helpful. We were offered champagne upon check in! The location is excellent - right in Market Square with many shops and restaurants nearby. Our corner room was huge but located right near the housekeeping closet so a bit noisy in the morning. The hotel was clean, but our room could’ve used new carpeting. We had fun in the speakeasy bar watching the artistry of the bartender and enjoying her beautiful and delicious cocktails. We would stay at The Oliver again!

We stayed in The Oliver Suite, which was worth every penny! It’s a lovely suite, tastefully decorated, and super comfortable. It overlooks the square and Krutch Park, so you’re right in the action of downtown. The staff (especially AJ) was exceptional, and the thoughtfulness and detail put into our stay was nothing short of incredible. We didn’t worry about anything, and were met with a handwritten note welcoming us to the hotel. Simply a lovely experience, highly recommend!

Can’t think of a thing!

I really loved the location. It was close to everything that we wanted to do. The ambiance of the hotel was quite nice.

Check-in was a bit wonky. We arrived around 4:30 and our room was not ready. I will say the gentleman working the front desk is amazing at his job. He was able to diffuse the situation with everyone. I also wish with it being 2025 that hotels had an electronic method for tips. This one did not seem to have that option.

Very cute, funky, and well done decor and atmosphere. Location was fantastic for downtown exploration. The room was great, comfortable, stylish and quiet. Fun that they had mints, candy, and matchbooks for guests throughout the hotel. The front desk attendant was great in helping check-in and providing restaurant suggestions.

I have no complaints!

The room was a suite which was great, but kind of dark. The seating room had no natural light and not enough lighting. The bedroom had only one small window. Would not choose a suite next time but it was somewhat last minute so it was the only choice.

Fab location and Royale restaurant was terrific Great area for walking. We will stay there again.

Room was nice but a bit small, bright at night due to flood lights outside illuminating the front of the hotel. Bathroom spacious and attractive but needed a bit of attention (towel bar loose). A Mini breakfast would have been nice.

To start off with, they were so helpful and accommodating when our flights got canceled and travel plans changed. The hotel was adorable And so chic! We loved the property and location and would go back just for the hotel!

Everything was great .

Location was great, right by Market Square and easy access to the university where we had business. Front desk staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Comfortable, spacious rooms. And the BIG bowl of Lifesaver mints in the lobby!

The "business center" is a printing kiosk in the hallway on the third floor. There isn't a gym (even though one is mentioned on Booking.com) - you just get a pass to the YMCA a few blocks away (which is a little sketchy-looking). No breakfast options.

The location was downtown, which made it convenient to walk to places. I was offered a glass of champagne at check-in. The hotel had a "Great Gatsby" feel.
